The Learning Experience Corporate Headquaters

Review: The corporate office of The Learning Experience, without notice or advisement, sent out a 1 week notice of the closure of a day care center in Berlin, CT. Parents were not given a full disclosure of the reasoning behind such an abrupt drastic decision. Parents were then expected to find alternate center locations, with no guarantee of equal services or rates. The Learning Experience Corporate office, is now expecting parents to PAY the tuition for the weeks where the children have received minimum care/diligence due to the influx of concern and searches for other locations and centers for our children. They have not been open with the parents that have supported the center since its inception in Fall of 2013. As a parent and former child care provider, I know that things can change, however they do not turn so suddenly without prior recourse being had.Desired Settlement: We as parents of children in the TLE center in Berlin, seek no retribution or charges for the time in which the center was deemed to be suddenly closing. We expect full notification and disclosure as to why such a rash decision was delivered in such an abrupt manner. We also seek to ensure that there be no penalties or requests in the future for the time in which the Decisions from Corporate has inflicted upon not only the parents the following: stress, emotional distress, and emotional impact this has had upon our children, with the uncertainty of the future of their school and the friendships they have currently established due to a corporate decision rashly made.
