Review: I purchased a Mens Concealed Leather Motorcycle Biker Club Vest Gun Pocket Carry Firearm size 50, item #XXXXXXXXXXXX, on October 16, 2012 through Leather Outpost's eBay website.

The vest was mailed to the wrong address, but I was able to find out through the delivery company what address it was delivered to, a neighbor's home, and I went and picked it up from that address.

The vest did not fit, so I contacted Leather Outpost's [redacted] through email on November 14 and she agreed to exchange it for a smaller size, a 48. She gave me an address to mail it back and a RMA number to include with the vest for exchange purposes.

I mailed the vest on November 26 and sent [redacted] the FedEx tracking number, XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX. FedEx confirmed its arrival on November 28, but I never received a replacement vest.

I've contacted Leather Outpost no less than once a week since December regarding this issue via phone and email. Only once was I able to speak to someone directly in the sales department, and she told me she would issue me a credit or replace the vest, but I never received either and have not been able to get anyone on the phone or through email since.

I've researched the company and found four different emails, all of which I've tried emailing with no success. Mrs [redacted] stopped responding to further communication from me regarding the exchange.

It is now May 2013. I have email documentation of the order, the exchange conversation that took place in November, and the emails and eBay messages I have sent since that have been unanswered.Desired Settlement: I am seeking a refund for my order in the amount of $89.00, which is the original cost of the vest that I paid via PayPal to Leather Outpost on October 16, 2012.

If the company will not issue a refund, I will accept delivery of the vest I was promised, in a size 48, delivered to [redacted] XXXXX.

Business' Initial Response

Customer didn't contact us until 4 months after the initial order. We have no invoice showing we received the vest for an exchange or refund. Our policy clearly states refunds within 14 days and store credit within 30 days. The customer should of contacted us within the stated time so that we could of come up with a resolution.

[redacted] agreed in an email to exchange my purchase within 30 days of me receiving the original delivery, as required by your return/exchange policy. I would be happy to forward the email to the Leather Outpost as proof of the date this exchange happened. If an exchange was not possible, store credit would have sufficed, but no one ever responded after [redacted]'s original response regarding the exchange.

I checked the FedEx tracking proof of delivery and it shows that the returned package was signed for by someone named [redacted] at the address given by Leather Outpost for exchange purpose

The purchase was delivered to the correct return address, with the correct RMA #, per [redacted]'s instructions. Your company should have responded to my inquiries about the vest in December, when I emailed and called [redacted] to ask why I had not received the exchanged vest. If someone had responded in a timely manner instead of ignoring my emails, voice mails and eBay messages, this could have been resolved seven months ago.
