I purchased a car in 2008, financed through CFCU, in it was stolen in CharlotteI filed a police report but the car was never foundthe insurance would not pay it off due to it being on a secure locked gated area, which someone left unlocked and the company states it was not their fault....even though they left gate unlocked They reported it to my credit as a judgement for $17,in Dec2012, which I was never served papers to appear in court or anythingIn Augthey mailed me a exemption paper to write down belongings exempt from being taken and soldI took this to my lawyer who filled out and mailed to ***Courthouse Today, 9/16/I receive a letter from Sheriffs office saying I owe them $38,and I need to call them within days to make payment in full or they will come to my home and seize my petsonal property!!! I don't understand how the amount jumped up $21,owed or how they can take anythingthey have their judgement and there is a police report where the car was stolen! These people are as crooked as they come! The only thing I have received from them since is the exemption paperwork this past August, they have not called me or sent any other communication! DO NOT do any business with them! I would love to file a lawsuit against them if I have any rights at all but I am unsure how to do that

After banking with Coastal for over years and almost being the perfect customer, they decided to screw me over by reporting negative credit indicating that I missed paymentsAfter a perfect payment record they do this to me, and it was their fault they never send me the bills after I advised them I was moving out of state and provided to them all the information they requested, SHAME ON YOU COASTAL!!!

I was laid off as a software engineer in 2003. My new career as a hairdresser did not afford me the same salary, and by 2007, my unsecured credit card with Coastal Federal Credit Union went into default. I could no longer pay current financial obligations as well as the additional debt. In October 2016, after begging with the CEO [redacted], his staff, and attorneys to release my bank account in which they put a $44,000.00 bank levy freezing my commercial business account for two weeks and stealing all of my bill money out of my account. I was wiped out. My mortgage money stolen. This was a very traumatizing experience over an unsecured credit card from a not-for-profit credit union. I am still behind in my mortgage as a hairdresser. This credit union is heartless and sm. Anyone borrowing money from them should know that nine years later, they can clean out your bank account from a different financial institution. I live modestly. I do not take any extravagant vacations. I am just a hard working American trying to keep my current obligations up so that I will not be a burden to society. It is unbelievable that the state of NC allows its residents to be extorted and robbed and call it legal by not for profit credit unions like Coastal Federal Credit Union.

Review: over two months ago I had left a message for [redacted] with the company in which I had recommended for line markings to be remarked on a property parking lot/access road that the company owns due to a safety issue for drivers on the property. Still up to this time, nothing has been done. I left a message for [redacted] May 12th for him requesting him to contact me back to ensure that this will be taken care of but yet I have heard nothing.Desired Settlement: For the company owner (Mr [redacted]) to contact me directly by email ensuring that this problem will be taken care of on their property, since Mr [redacted] apparently doesn't care to contact a concerned customer and since he apparently doesn't care about the major safety issue. I request to have a reply directly from the company owner instead.

Response:

[redacted] complaint is regarding traffic markings in an ROW from [redacted] ingress/egress in and out of a shopping center we manage known as [redacted]. When Mr. [redacted] call was first received I was on travel and asked my Facilities Manager to look into the issue. This was done at the time and it was February. In the past there was a question as to the City maintaining these markings due to a right of way matter. When we finally determined the City would not perform the requested marking so the Company had the markings painted. Please note that when managing commercial real estate there are budgets as well as weather constraints. It is difficult to paint markings on pavement in February and the City issue needed to be clarified. The area has been marked properly and we will await your notification of no further actions required. Please remove this blemish from our Company’s profile immediately.Thank you,[redacted]President[redacted] Development CorporationExecutive Vice PresidentThe [redacted] GroupPO Drawer [redacted]Mobile [redacted]

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.Regards,[redacted]

I am satisfied with the completion of the safety problem. It would of been much better if [redacted] Group had taken just a little time to provide information to me time to time to let me know of any status instead of leaving me in the dark in which I had no choice but to file this complaint to the Revdex.com. Understanding in February - mid March weather may of prevented line markings to be repainted but there was two months after that in which warm weather provided this to be done but they waited till the problem had grown worse. I hope this won't repeat in the future on any other properties the company owns and that they can be ahead of the game next time when a safety problem exist.
