This is just asinine, and the apartment cannot move another tenant in without cleaning or replacing the carpet which falls under the, "wear and tear" categoryThis is another case of an apartment complex taking advantage of a tenantAs fas as reporting missing items I did not feel safe doing thatThis person had keys to my apartment, and of course knew my whereabouts. complaint was submitted to the Revdex.com on 2/17/16 and assigned an ID of [redacted].The move-out inspection was performed by the assistant manager and maintenance service manager of The Links, the previous resident was not present. During the inspection, items Were noted on the Movein/Move-out Inspection Checklist. At the time of move-in the resident did not list any items on the checklist. The Standard Cleaning and Repair Charges form was used when completing the final accounting. Per page 3 of the Apartment Lease Contract, the replacement of 3 light bulbs was charged as the bathroom had 1 bulb missing and 2 bulbs out. A carpet replacement prorate of $292,26 was charged. Upon receiving the Move-out Statement, the previous resident called the office to question the carpet replacement charge. The property manager scheduled the carpet cleaning company to inspect the carpet for the possibility to clean rather than replace. With a carpet cleaning, deep scrub, gum snip out and deodorizer, the carpet was cleaned at a cost of $107.19. The final accounting was adjusted by- $185.07 and mailed to the previous resident. The property has on file several pictures of cleaning issues in the kitchen and bathroom that are available upon request.The resident moved into the apartment on 6/1/13 and moved out on 1/31/16. During this time the resident did not report an incident to The Links office regarding stolen items from the home nor was the office contacted by the Rio Rancho police to Investigate such a claim.For a period of time in 2013 the main pool had a circulation issue.
