The Lodi Dentist Reviews (2)

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my concern, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me

2/24/2017 Response to Mr. [redacted] Revdex.com complaint:   12/19/2016 Mr. [redacted] came to our office wanting new complete upper and complete [redacted]er dentures.  He expressed his current set has broken and chipped teeth and they don’t fit.  We did a complete new patient exam with a panorex ...

x-ray and discussed new dentures.  His old upper denture was loose and moved side to side and came out easily.  His [redacted]er was loose and did not fit.  When given the fee for a new set of dentures Mr. [redacted] stated that was too much to spend.  We discussed a second option of relining his current upper denture and [redacted]er denture and replacing 4 broken teeth on the upper denture and 1 broken tooth on the [redacted]er.  Mr. [redacted] accepted this option and we proceeded with the impressions and sending the case to the lab.  12/20/2016 We delivered the relined and repaired dentures.  They both fit very well and the movement was minimal when the dentures were put in place.  Patient was told to give them a try and call if any adjustments were needed due to sore spots. 1/10/2017 Mr. [redacted] came to office saying the dentures did not fit.  Upon evaluation the upper denture still fit very well and very retentive. The [redacted]er denture also fit well and almost seemed to snap into place.  He had no sore spots and his bite was adjusted for better occlusion on all teeth. Mr. [redacted] was told to try adhesive on the [redacted]er denture if desired and to give it a couple of weeks and call if he has any further problems.  1/12/2017 Two days later Mr. [redacted] called saying his [redacted]er denture doesn’t fit any better than two days ago and he wants a refund by 6:00pm that day or he was going to call his attorney.   We called Mr. [redacted] back and advised him the reline was a good reline and if he wanted to get a second opinion to have that dentist call us so we could discuss possible options.  Mr. [redacted] obviously then went to Dr. [redacted] and proceeded to have him reline the [redacted]er denture.  Dr. [redacted] nor Mr. [redacted] called Dr. [redacted] prior to the treatment Dr. [redacted] provided.   Given the above information I feel our reline and replacement of broken teeth was a great service for Mr. [redacted].  He agreed to the services and the quoted fees and paid his bill in full.  He did not ask Dr. [redacted] to redo the upper denture only the [redacted]er denture.  I feel since Mr. [redacted] agreed to our service and our fees he should only be reimbursed for the amount he spent at Dr. [redacted]’s office.  I will be happy to refund Mr. [redacted] $300.00 for the expense he encountered at Dr. [redacted]e’s office.  I feel this is a fair conclusion and hope Mr. [redacted] is happy with this option.   Sincerely,   [redacted], D.D.S.
