THE LOFT RESTAURANT

We had read mixed reviews on this restaurant but decided to try it as we were looking for something close to the Fulton theatreWe were so glad we gave it a chance as our experience from beginning to end was fabulousOur waiter, Ernest was VERY attentive and couldn't have been nicerWe started with the oysters on the half shell, they were delicious (of them for $13) and then on to the house saladWe had the blue cheese dressing (best I've had in a long time as the chef makes it fresh and it tasted every bit of it)My husband ordered the Veal Oscar and I had the Scallops with a balsamic glaze, corn and lima beans and fancy mashed potatoesBoth were delicious, adaquate portions and we were pleasantly full when we were finishedHe knew we didn't have room for dessert and was so interested in making our first visit amazing (he even said that) that he brought out two chocolate covered strawberries for us to satisfy our sweet tooth! As we were leaving, I thought to myself now to make this a perfect dinner experience I wanted someone to say thank you as we went for the doorRight as I thought no one would be there to say goodbye, a lovely women thanked us for coming and told us to enjoy the show! AWESOME place, great service and great foodWe'll be going back again!!
