The Lofts Apartments

At first moving in was smooth and enjoyable. Then for the first three or so months they added a new charge. These charges were not in the lease. They were never added to my lease and I never signed a new one. When I asked about the charges she gave me a piece of computer paper saying it was added to my lease however when I showed the manager how it was in fact not in my lease she had no answers. We continued to pay whatever they asked because it was cheaper than the almost $3000 they wanted from us to break the lease they never abode by. When we moved in it took them a week to get the rooms painted so we couldn't even fully move in. Their painters got paint all over the apartment and our furniture and after throwing a fit they decided to pay our $50 water bill. The manager was never in office so we would have to text or email us. she tells us one thing on email and then will tell us something completely different later. We would get noise complaints from the neighbors below us for walking or talking too loud but they would throw huge house parties to where they shook our apartment and the manager said she couldn't do anything because it was during the day. which is when we got our complaints. We had a huge miscommunication with the pet fee. no where in our lease and no where on the website and no where on the advertisement said anything about a pet deposit, it just had the pet rent. we didn't find out until after we asked about the pet. she told us she would get with her boss and let us know if we could make payments since it was so last minute and she never got back to us and tried to get us for violating the lease. we finally had enough and decided to pay to break the lease. I asked in person and through email if we left if we would have to pay the months rent on top of $2,000 she told me no. now they are trying to charge me rent any way. they also told me not to worry about painting since they didn't do it right to begin with and she said we didn't do they painting in an email.
