This shop is a jokeNot only do they work at a snails pace, they NEVER call you to let you know what's going onI had to call them EVERY single time to find out information about my boyfriends truck that they had for over a weekFirst they got the wrong part, then the mechanic that was working on it called out sickthen we were told it would be done, we drove up there only to be told sorry it's not ready the mechanic called out again come back tomorrowAre you kidding? You're a SHOP with numerous mechanics find someone else to finish the job!!! Then we call and are told "it'll be done within the hour come on down"That was at 1pmWe came down at 2pm and it STILL WASNT FINISHEDThen we were told they "forgot to do the alignment" so finally at PM he received his truckIf you want a slow shop with AWFUL customer service, then this is the place for you
My Jeep broke down on the side of the road and was towed to an auto repair shop suggested by another party. I brought it there in good faith and after 2 days they could not seem to diagnose the problem which had to do with the entire braking system. Also, previous to this, 2 lug nuts were put on each of my front tires ck eyed when replacing the 2 front tires and when this same tire place tried to get one wheel off they destroyed the wheel in doing so. They did agree to replace the wheel. Now this auto repair shop where I just towed my Jeep into said if they damage the wheel, they will not be responsible for a new wheel as they were not responsible in how it got put on that way. Magic Mechanic drilled it off in minutes with no damage! Gave it to me as a souvenir. Funny how the tire shop nor the other auto repair shop didn't know to do that. Had the tire shop known that it would not have cost them buying me a new wheel! Anyway I decided to NOT let the auto repair shop where it was originally towed into do the work. It was worth it to me to tow it once again but this time to the Magic Mechanic (which I should have done to begin with!) They got it on Monday afternoon and by Wednesday afternoon it was done! BTW they did MORE work than the original auto repair shop said it needed as they were making their best guess and I got a cheaper invoice from the Magic Mechanic as well. I did not give the Magic Mechanic the estimate from the other repair shop either! My Jeep is 10 years old and things have begun to break down. I have always brought it to the Magic Mechanic and it is always a pleasure to deal with them. I only towed it to the other place as I was within the 3 mile towing range and I gave it a shot. NEVER AGAIN! My Jeep is now in the Jeep dealership for 2 recalls and wow what a laundry list I have been given of things that "need" to be fixed. Well the Magic Mechanic knows what "needs" to be done and will do so when it really needs to be done at fair and NOT ridiculous pricing. If you want great service, superb customer service and great honest estimates than the Magic Mechanic is the place you want to go! Thank you JD (General Manager)

I have been dealing with the Magic Mechanic for many years and so have my friends and what you describe would NEVER happen at the Magic Mechanic...NEVER! You definitely have the wrong shop. They NEVER EVER NEVER EVER NEVER EVER tell you to pick up a vehicle UNTIL IT IS DONE! PERIOD! Forget to do a job...must I repeat...NEVER EVER NEVER EVER NEVER EVER! PERIOD!
Have been a 6 year customer of the business with two vehicles. My most recent visit was to diagnose/repair an apparent electrical system problem on my 2005 Ram 3500 pickup truck, in addition to routine transmission service and tire service. Though the business had the truck the entire business week, that is never an issue to me as I know how busy they are, plus I want the techs to have the time they need to do the job right. The electrical issue was tracked down to a defective electronic cooling fan clutch on for the radiator; an excessively glazed serpentine belt, and defective tensioner was also discovered. All items were replaced, requested service completed and the truck operates as it should. The cost was $1192. Might be better bargains around but trust this business and their policy of using OEM replacement parts only for most engine and drivetrain repairs. My truck has a diesel engine and I am most comfortable with this business' techs' skills, more so than I would be with a dealership service department.
I live in Volusia County, but when my vehicles need service it is worth the drive.
