Below is the response we sent to Mr [redacted] via e-mail on October Please note he never did call our local office in Burlington which prevented us from addressing this situation in a timely mannerWe will not be refunding any of the payment as Mr [redacted] had indicated everything was great and he did not want to pay for any further cleaning“According to the team leader you looked around the home and indicated everything was fine prior to their leavingJust to let you know there is a difference between window sills and troughs (channel)The troughs are the outside horizontal space underneath and outside of the window sashWe do not clean this area unless specifically requested as most customers do not want this area addressed; mostly, because this area can be quite dirty and requires a significant amount of time to cleanThe information you provided to our Sales Center made no mention of cleaning this areaIn addition, you indicated you only wanted hours of service, our minimum for a first time visitWhen the team is constrained by time it is not always possible to complete all the tasks requestedIn summary, you did not specifically ask the team leader about the window troughs you imposed a time constraint and had surveyed the home and indicated everything was fine prior to the team leavingHad the team addressed additional areas, then given your time constraints, they would not have been able to finish some other areasHad you immediately contacted our local office in Burlington, we could have sent someone to your home the next day.”

he did not want to pay for any further cleaning. “According to the team leader you looked around the home and indicated everything was fine prior to their leaving. Just to let you know there is a difference between window sills and troughs (channel). The troughs are the outside horizontal space underneath and outside of the window sash. We do not clean this area unless specifically requested as most customers do not want this area addressed; mostly, because this area can be quite dirty and requires a significant amount of time to clean. The information you provided to our Sales Center made no mention of cleaning this area. In addition, you indicated you only wanted 1.5 hours of service, our minimum for a first time visit. When the team is constrained by time it is not always possible to complete all the tasks requested. In summary, you did not specifically ask the team leader about the window troughs you imposed a time constraint and had surveyed the home and indicated everything was fine prior to the team leaving. Had the team addressed additional areas, then given your time constraints, they would not have been able to finish some other areas. Had you immediately contacted our local office in Burlington, we could have sent someone to your home the next day.”

I stand by my original complaint. I specifically requested that they pay additional attention to the cleaning of the windows. They had more than ample time/manpower to complete this job. This was an easy cleaning job, mostly just vacuuming. I contacted the national office concerning my dissatisfaction as they were the ones advertising the 100% guarantee.  They just forwarded my complaint (with pictures of the dirty windows) to the local office.  No guarantee, no refund (not even a partial one) - nothing.
