This letter is in response to your letter of 5/11/re; the “Maids”Mr [redacted] is not standing his claim that his crew is thoroughFirst Of all, I had a cataract removed from my eye on 12/15/at [redacted] in south Weymouth and because I couldn’t see very well before the surgeryI didn’t see the difference from the cleaned cabinets and those that were not on 12/12/I had subsequent visits (post-op) which is why my complaint was delayedI called Mr [redacted] and explained this and asked him to come over to my house to see for himselfBut he refused, he lived about minutes from me and should have done soJust out of courtesy evenIf I could get up on a stool and clean these “uncleaned” cabinets myself, I would, but I don’t dare at my age to do soI’m YO and am deathly afraid of fallingI knew it would cost me $+ and he had no problem coming over then and I made no fuss about thatI am so frustrated and angry that he could so easily remedy thisI have taken pictures of these cabinets and will take them to be developed tomorrowIf he won’t resolve this I’ll hire an attorney, that’s how angry I amI will send the photos to you ASAPegards, [redacted]

First Of all, I had a cataract removed from my eye on 12/15/14 at [redacted] in south Weymouth and because I couldn’t see very well before the surgery. I didn’t see the difference from the cleaned cabinets and those that were not on 12/12/14. I had subsequent visits (post-op) which is why my complaint was delayed. I called Mr [redacted] and explained this and asked him to come over to my house to see for himself. But he refused, he lived about 5 minutes from me and should have done so. Just out of courtesy even. If I could get up on a stool and clean these “uncleaned” cabinets myself, I would, but I don’t dare at my age to do so. I’m 82 YO and am deathly afraid of falling. I knew it would cost me $500 + and he had no problem coming over then and I made no fuss about that. I am so frustrated and angry that he could so easily remedy this. I have taken pictures of these cabinets and will take them to be developed tomorrow. If he won’t resolve this I’ll hire an attorney, that’s how angry I am. I will send the photos to you ASAPegards,

We provided the services that the customer requested on 12/12. Her statement that not all the cabinets were cleaned is not accurate. The kitchen was cleaned in it's entirety. We do guarantee our work. Our official policy is we will re-clean any area the customer is not happy with if we are contacted...
within 24 hours of the completion of the job. We are flexible on waiving the 24 hour requirement within reason. The customer contacted us weeks after the job. I explained to her that we can't be responsible for the condition of her kitchen weeks after we cleaned. That is not within reason in our opinion. Apparently the customer believes that the crew wanted to go home because it was dark. It gets dark early in December. At that time of year they return in the dark every day. That simply was not an issue. I regret that the customer is not satisfied with our response however we are not in a position to guarantee her kitchen will still be clean 2 weeks after we clean it.Sent on: 5/8/2015 11:25:18 AM
