I had a bathroom installed in August and am extremely satisfied with the Marble FactoryThe workers were very clean and efficient on the removal, and very swift on the installationAs usual with year old houses, problems arose, but Mark & Randy found ways to put things to codeThere were numerous additions to the original installation contract, and for these I was not chargedWhile they said one week, it took four daysI am most satisfied with Marble Factory, and recommend them to you Ross W

I went into the Marble Factory with a bathroom reno in mind but uncertain as to product - Amy was immediately available and helped me to choose - I ordered a washower and vanity top and am completely satisfied with the products that she helped me to choose The two crews which were sent out to do the installation were excellent in terms of their work results The timeline as promised was met I have no hesitation, based on my experience, to recommend the Marble Factory as a reliable choice

When we had to renovate the shower I wanted to use cultered marbleWe had this in the tub and sink counters and it stood up very well over the years We went with The Marble Factory Unfortunately things did not go very well On some days they did not show up even when they said the day before that they were going to be thereWe had to phone the office to find out if they were still coming During attachment of the marble panels they were not installed flat to the wall which meant it did no align with the outside corner This looked pretty ugly and would have been visible every time we walked by the shower They tried do blame it on the wall not being flat which was ridiculus because the old tiles that were removed from the wall fit square They were trying to get me to accept it as is and it was not till I proved to them were the error was that they fixed it In addition when they attached the glass to the cultured marble panels the knife of one of the workers slipped and they gouged the panel They offered to patch up the gouge When I asked them if the finished repair would be visible They said it would so we would not accept a patch repair They grudgingly removed and replaced one of the cultered marble pieces During final assembly they had a great deal of trouble adjusting the shower door It would always bindThey had to come back a number of times because you could not open the shower door in the morning We did not find out till a little over a year later, when I had to replace the bottom shower door seal, that their worker had in fact stripped the hex socket of one of the hinge screws, which meant that the screw could not longer be loosened to adjust the glass shower door When I spoke to The Marble Factory they said it was out of warranty and tried to say I stripped the screw headThey would only come out to look at it if we agreed to pay a $service callWe told them that the Warranty on workmanship per their Warranty document was years and we would not pay to repair the damage done by The Marble Factory There was no further response from them so I drilled ot the damaged screw and removed it with a screw extractorFortunately I was able to do this myself but a customer should not have to repair damages done by a contractor We paid $for this shower replacementIn summary their Cultured Marble is an excellent material but based on our experience I would recommend you find a better contractor than The Marble Factory

We recently had THE MARBLE FACTORY completely renovate our ensuite and we could not have been more pleased
At the very first meeting we were able to come up with a very good plan and even chose some of the products to be used The design team was eager to hear our plans and had great suggestions
We received a very detailed quote Everything was covered - there were no surprises as the job progressedThe work was done within the budget and right on time!
A professional team arrived on the first day of renovations to protect the existing floors, carpeting and walls with plastic wrap, cardboard protectors for the flooring and sealing the bathroom to keep the dust in the rest of the house to a minimum Demolition and disposal was unbelievably quick with very little noise or dust
We had a wonderful site coordinator and supervisor that checked in virtually every dayWe were constantly updated and advised if there were any issues at all
Every person that came in to work on the project treated our home as if it was their own Very professional, well-trained staff; beautiful craftsmanship
We have a beautiful spa bathroom and we could not be happier So glad we chose THE MARBLE FACTORY

Renovations can be stressful but dealing with the Marble Factory crew was a shear delight Professional with their advice and in all the work they performed Top marks go to Dawn *** & Jason, for the great and helpful advice and the incredible coordination of all the fabulous crews Every crew was respectful and experts in the field they offeredI have never dealt with a better bunch I would most definitely go to the Marble Factory in the future for any other renovations and highly recommend them to all others

We had the Marble Factory replace our vanities in two bathrooms, shower in one bathroom, and tub with surround in the other bathroomMike was the person we worked with at the store and he was extremely patient, professional, and collaborative in our multiple-week decision making processTheir installation employees were all very professional and cleanAfter the vanity installs, there were some issues with the one sink leaking (two different times) and the Marble Factory staff were great about fixing it as well as repairing any other issues (painting the walls where needed, cleaning the floors, ect...) that arose from the installs

Our vanity top is a bit non standard and was made to fit perfectlyThe installers went an extra step in fitting a side splash to an angle when they could have avoided this and so our replacement was better than the original installation

We were very impressed with the Marble Factory from the first interview with Dawn to the completion of the project and the return visit of Jason to rectify a problem with a sink faucetDawn went to a great deal of trouble to be sure the shower deck would be low enough and wide enough to accommodate the equipment necessitated by my husband's disability and to be sure the finished product was totally appropriate.The renovators themselves were very professional in their approach and very careful and efficient in their workWe were very happy with the completed product and would certainly recommend the company

The people at the Marble Factory were fantastic to work with There were some communication and coordination issues with our contractor, so in future I would recommend using Marble Factory directly, rather in conjunction with a bigger renovation Product is well made and installation was much better than I anticipated in my wildest dreams Well done Marble Factory! Only disappointment is the limited selection of ready-made items (ie sizes of showers) -- really only two sizes to choose from and only one fit our space Otherwise we would have had to go with a custom sizing which adds significantly to the cost

It has been one year since I contracted The Marble Factory in Calgary to renovate our bathroom Personally would not recommend the manufactured marble because it scratches easilyHad them back to buff vanity counter about four months after completion It is showing scratching again Had I known this fact about manufactured marble I would never have chosen it and requested granite counter and tile wallsFor $13,Reno I am very unhappy
