I am receiving a refund from the IRS for my tax refund, but they should be responsible for the fee's I had to pay the IRSI had to pay a total of $to the IRS to help return my refund

Ms. [redacted] came into my office to get her taxes done, and was helped by [redacted]. Approximately March 2nd 2016. When the return was notified in my system on approximately March 25th 2016. I was notified that there were two federal offsets. The first one was from EDD, and the second one was...

from the Department of Treasury for an ammount total of $4600. I notified verbally Ms. [redacted] the offset which caused the delay and she was upset stating that the return was inaccurate and that she only had a $800 offset. I notified her of the discrepencie and she demanded her money. I also asked her to provide us with the accurate figures for her return. She then stated, "I have no accurate figures for the return." There were witnesses in the office that saw and heard her state this. I then told her that this is a fraudulent return and that I will be sending it back to the IRS. Since then Ms. [redacted] has been harassing myself and my tax preparer [redacted] threatning me VIA text messages that we need to surrender her return or she is going to take legal actions. I know as my reqired due dilligence as a tax preparer when a client notifies me that their return has fraudulent figures, it voids the return and I am required to send the return back to the IRS.
