They said they filled (2) teeth. They lied & I can prove by showing you the teeth they claim to have filled. Then send me a bill for $160.00. This matter needs to be seriously looked into This is "FRAUD"

my rebuttal to modern dental regarding my complaint id 11602710 is as follows: recalling events backwards on January 29, 2016 I called modern dental because the entire tooth including the temporary crown intact came out of my mouth. I did not call to have it extracted, it had already broken off. no one told me that a redo of the crown must be done, how can they offer to redo the prep for the crown at no charge when theres no tooth to be prepped. but other services was offered which again my medical plan doesn't cover, at the price of $850.00 on up. my rebuttal is there should have not been a root canal done, the services offered now should have been offered in 2014. then I saved the money for the crown. now I dont have that kinda money and the tooth isn't intact to be fitted for a crown again anyway. so therefore I am requesting my refund of 180.00. in which they are refusing to return. have to probably re-do this crown prep for now it is broken down further (we could have charged her for the lab needs to remake the crown). Now she wants it extracted.   The cost for the crown on #9 (front tooth) is very low, $350.00 which she only paid a deposit of $180.00. Her MediCal plan pays $0.00 on crowns so we try to keep cost low. This is on her ledger attached.  I have also attached the informed consent for her crown which she signed.We document everything when it comes to patients and she never filed a complaint with her MediCal plan, Liberty/Health Net for they would have contacted us first.   Please let me know if there is anything else. [redacted]Hayashi Dental Group[redacted]Office ~ [redacted]
