Getting a new mattress/box spring after 10 months - FROM SOMEONE ELSE !!

Changed from original mattress I had bought from him within a week - far harder than sample in showroom, then he talked me into a different mattress @ $550 more. Now that one is sinking and lumpy and the box spring is squeaking like 2 pieces of wood rubbing together every time I move. All this started at about 6 months, called him about warranty on box spring and owner said "there is NO warranty on box springs" !!!

MY mistake for being taken in by his pitch that he was especially honest with "other vets" and would always take care of his brothers in arms. ALL BS !!

NEVER AGAIN - AND I WILL TELL EVERYONE I KNOW !!!

I purchased a [redacted] queen set Less than 6 months later it was replaced after much going back and forth as to what "I" had done to it,ie. kids jumping on it. My kid is an "adult". A few months later she was still complaining about it sagging in the middle. Since the warranty only replaces it one time, I did not try to speak to them until after I had replaced the mattress. Now I discover that the phone mailbox is full and Revdex.com has an alert that mail was returned undelivered. Guess it is too late to warn others about my experience.

Review: I went to The Mattress Place and Talked to the Sales person [redacted]. After I picked out my mattress I payed in full for the Mattress Set. "Mattress and Box Spring" It took about 24 to 48 hours later The Sales Person Calls me and delivers my Mattress and Box Spring. The Mattress was perfect but the box spring did not fit in my hall way to get carried up the stairs, [redacted] "the sales person" delivered the mattress himself, and said no prob that its not fitting, he took it back and said he will order a foldable box spring for a queen bed. I waited for a few days, and called a few times, and I asked him multiple times if the box spring came he said no on tues, or wed, or thurs. It has been over few weeks and I have contacted them and the Owner has Yelled at me. And took a loud tone with me, told me to return the mattress and he will give my money back. I just want the Box Spring. [redacted] also gave me a hand written receipt so, I don't even know if its a correct receipt. When I spoke to a different sales associate, he told me they have a printed receipt, and the hand written receipt was wrong of [redacted] too do. I'm thinking [redacted] did not want to put the Mattress Through the system and was scamming the company.Desired Settlement: 1. I want a Foldable Box Spring delivered to my home, as What I bought from the store.2. I want my money back without, the return the mattress that I have. I don't think I like the owner yelling at my Since Its not my fault that the sales Person was wrong at selling me a Mattress and Box spring set, for the price he sold for.

Manager [redacted] confirmed the company had been scammed by an individual that worked for them for one week. The consumer was sold an $[redacted] mattress plus boxspring for a total of $[redacted]. The individual wrote a handwritten receipt and took off with the funds. The Mattress Place can not offer the high end split queen box spring which sells for $[redacted] at this point to the consumer.

There is no company receipt for this. He has offered to pick up the mattress for a full refund plus $[redacted] for the inconvenience. He can not resell it at this point but can return to manufacturer to recoop some of his loses. Once the mattress is returned his company is happy to work with the consumer and sell a mattress and boxspring.

Review: Merchant delivered a substandard frame with new mattress and box spring set we bough from them. Frame is substandard because it does not meet bed manufacturer's warranty guidelines and actually voids the warranty per manufacturer (frame is lacking the required center support). Bed box spring is now creaking badly and appears to be giving out because of the improper frame support provided by merchant. Contacted merchant (spoke to the owner [redacted]) and explained the situation but he said he could not afford to provide a replacement frame, he offered to sell us one however for $**.Desired Settlement: Exchange the substandard bed frame (unbeknown to us) for one that meets bed manufacturer warranty standards having the proper center support.
