This roof was done about 5-years agoI was contacted by another contractor re-roofing the houseI was told there was bad decking due to leakingThe contractor already had the roof torn off and some of the roof decking removedI could see no evidence of a problemThe consumerism had not contacted me prior to this but suggested I should pay for the new deckingI should have been contacted prior to the removal of the existing roof systemMy conversation with the roofing contractor was that I had no evidence anything was done incorrectly during installation and I would not be paying for the removal or replacement of the deckingMy issue was not with the contractor but with the homeownerThe homeowner and I came to the agreement that I would pay him $towards the work but we could never find a time to resolve the issue by meetingIf the homeowner would like to abide by the original terms I would be happy to pay the amount $towards the work that was doneOtherwise I cannot accept responsibility for a problem I had no proof of

This has not been resolved , I refuse to except anything under what I paid to have it repaired

The work was done in with a year workmanship warranty, even though this was out of warranty I did try to help the consumer who refused our offer
