The McNor group collects a "$1500 deposit" to show you available dental practices for sale in the DC Metro area. They owe me the refund of this.
Please see: Screenshot from my Venmo feed showing the initial payment of the $1500 to *** who I was in contact with.
Also see other screenshots of emails and the contract showing that the $1500 was refundable.
Also attached are emails and screenshots of emails that I have sent over the past several months with a response only received once Yesterday morning on April 14, 2020 saying that they will issue refunds at the end of the month.
I do not believe that they will issue refunds at the end of the month. They also owe my brother in law who is also a practicing dentist $15,000.00 and they refuse to pay him in full and initially gave him 3 post-dated checks which now they told them not to deposit. I am requesting a refund of my $1,500.00 and also my brother in law, Dr. *** $15,000.00 immediately.
I want a refund of the $1,500.00 via my original payment method (not a check which I know will bounce and not process) which was Venmo, an immediate electronic wire service. I also want my brother-in-law's refund issued to him immediately in the form of a check that is NOT post-dated and can be deposited immediately.
Refund was delayed due to business interruption directly related to non essential business closing mandated by state of Maryland. Refund will be issued by end of month

This was the exact response that they provided me at the beginning of last month as well. Their response is unacceptable and I need a refund of the money I paid immediately. They are just going to keep me and my brother-in-law on a wild goose chase and if you go look at their Google reviews many people have experienced the same. All they're going to do is keep saying that they will pay back at the end of the month and this will roll over into next month and into the next month. Using the mandate to close nonessential businesses during this time is just an excuse as I had requested the refund several times before the virus even started to come to America. A more harsh and direct request for a refund needs to be made or else they will keep pulling us along for months and months with no resolve. My main concern is that they will file for bankruptcy as their business is halted and the money will disappear. Please do not take their excuse as valid they will continue to lie and deceive and keep this money for their own good.
