Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I did not wait until twenty days later to complain about this problem. I have saved text communications with responses from sales rep Omar [redacted] that are dated October 5th, 6th, 7th and 12th which included pictures of the failed bearing and the work receipt. I have responses from Mr. [redacted] stating that he had forwarded my problem to his manager Allan [redacted] , and that he was "doing his best" toward making things right with me on this repair. On October 14th Mr. [redacted] texted me that he had closure on the problem and I should expect a communication from the dealership. On October 17th I questioned Mr. [redacted] by text regarding no response yet from the dealer, and he responded that he thought it had been "handled". Ple [redacted] remember that I informed Mr. [redacted] after the October 3rd test ride that I believed the car still had a bearing issue as I could still feel a vibration, but he convinced me that it was just the "nature of the car", so I left for home. Obviously, the vibration was not the "nature of the car", and I believe that Mr. [redacted] would not have continued communicating with me regarding this problem if I had not brought it to his attention from the start. Sincerely, Lyndon [redacted]

I have had a chance to review *** complaint and here is our official response. This vehicle was sold on 9/and physically delivered on 10/of this year. I will agree that there was a problem with a wheel bearing. It wasn't recognized until the customer came in town and test
drove it prior to taking delivery. We apologized and order the part while the customer waited. The part was installed and vehicle was test driven by both the mechanic and customer. The repair was complete and the customer finalized deal and drove off. So here it is days later and now the customer is alleging that there is a new problem and is looking for a $reimbursement for other work. This was a final sale and considering this was a year old car that we sold for under $6000., where do my obligations end? I have copied you with the repair we did which shows we did replace the wheel bearing that was brought to our attention and and the repair solved said problem

What is important to know when reviewing this complaint are timelines, one being the purchase of said *** by *** *** who purchased a *** *** on 3/6/15, and the service visits on said *** on 3/7/and another one on 4/9/ The second timeline, which I feel is
equally important was a thread of review statements that began on ***.com, a review site, which began on 10/5/16, an updated review on 10/6/16, after my response on 10/5/and more updates by *** on 11/30/and now a review by her brother on 11/30/ So you can see, we sold *** on 3/6/and now we get an awful star review on 10/5/16, months after *** writes up a terrible review on ***.com, which I reviewed personally I have repair orders which show we did a complete brake job on both axles on 3/7/and then again on 4/9/*** returned to our dealership and said a noise was coming from her brake linings, so removed all calipers, removed pads and cleaned, applied Brake quiet and reassembled and test drove vehicle before we returned *** to *** and didn't hear from her again until she wrote up a brutal dishonest review months later. The long and the short of it is, if she has a brake problem after months of driving, that is now HER problem not ours Obviously if the repair that was done on 47/wasn't done properly, I think she would have brought her vehicle back shortly after our last repair was done This customer is just looking for something for free, as I exposed her on ***, as a dishonest consumer, which I have to do from time to time, when any customer alleges things about my dealership that are NOT true I have attached a string of documents including *** service visits on 3/7/and 4/7/ Additionally I have attached the reviews and the response by me which counter any untruthful claims made by *** May the Truth set us free!! We believe you should close this heinous Revdex.com complaint based on FACTS!!

again I'd like to point out how much my *** *** needed service after the initial purchaseAfter going back and forth with the service deptwhich ended in them threatening to call police on me surely didn't have eager to go back for more serviceI also would like to point out after the several times and last time I left the dealership on 3/I was not happyI believeed my car was still making noises and Evanston's subaru refused to believe me and had me kicked off the premesisEven if Evanston Subaru doesn't admit their wrong doing I would still like my complaint and rating to be present on the Revdex.com's website as it is a warning for all future customers to to heed of Evanston's Subaru's shady service.
