The gift card in question was purchased from The Medbery Inn and Spa on 10/17/not The gift card is still valid to use at the hotel but unfortunately not the spaThe spa has been under new management and ownership since 11/1/and they are not required to take gift cards from another businessHowever, like we mentioned this gift card will always be valid at the Medbery Hotel which is where it was purchased fromWe always honor any gift card that was sold by our establishment as long as it is still validWe here at The Medbery strive for customer satisfaction but we must also protect our business from accusations and misleading information of which this complaint is loaded withThe card was bought much earlier than stated by the customerThe owner in fact did talk to the consumer as well as the consumers daughterAccusing the Medbery of saying "that's too bad" to a customer is a blatant and outlandish lieWe strive for customer satisfaction in every way and no one at The Medbery would ever speak to a customer in that tone or mannerIn short the card is valid at The Medbery Hotel for the full amount as it is a Medbery gift cardAs stated before unfortunately the spa which is now owned and operated by a new company since 11/1/and cannot honor another businesses gift cardJon [redacted]

This customer made a reservation for one night at our inn for June 8th, He made the reservation on 3/21/and was charged $for the roomHe was sent a full confirmation via email stating his reservation details and our policiesHe never showed on June 8th and never called to cancelOn7/1/Patrick called stating he cancelled and never was returned his paymentWe never received no phone calls or messages from ***Furthermore, we have never in years had this happenRegards, Jonathan T*** 7/7/

is really all I have to say regarding the matter. I have 4 documented phone calls made to his establishment one to cancel, the second looking for some cancellation number which he failed to provide. A third call to verify that the reservation was cancelled. A fourth call to verify this information. He was apparently hoping I would forget to check my Visa account for a credit, sorry Mr. [redacted] you have been busted as a scam artist!!!! The old first time in 12 years line, doesn't fly.....I have the documented phone calls. [redacted]Never in 30+ years on this end!!!!!!
