The client went through successful divorce mediation process which she and her husband have paid the stated amount for and which has produced a signed and notarized divorce agreement which she holds a copy of as does the other partyOnce the divorce agreement has been signed, she has been referred
to a paralegal who has then began filling in her paperwork and preparing for filingThe client wanted a quicker filing service, and has therefore been refunded ALL of her filing fee totaling $Please note that the filing fee is separate from the mediation fee as mediation fees are due at the end of each mediation sessionThe client, however, wants a full refund for a divorce agreement and mediation process that have long been completed and signedIt seems that the client is not acting in good faith as full refund has been made for filing services however the client demands refund for a mediation that has been not only completed but also produced a divorce agreement that both parties signed

Review: Went to [redacted] on December *, 2013 for a divorce, in her [redacted] office. explained that my husband and I have been separated for 4 yrs and its time to get the divorce. It was to be simple case since we already split everything. I told [redacted] the I needed to be divorced by the end of April 2014 so I can be put on the medical insurance from my job. because I get laid off in May thru September and once I am laid off I would have to wait until September for the medical insurance .and once the divorce is final , if after April 2014, I would be taken off my husband insurance and wouldn't have any insurance for that period of time until I go back to work. I didn't want go without insurance for all those months. she said that she would file the papers asap so that there would be plenty of time . ** has a 90 day waiting period. so this gave me 4 months . I paid her that day $1,750.00. Then I met with her in the [redacted] office on December **, 2013 to review the Divorce Agreement . Everything seemed fine. I paid her the balance of $1,049.00. I took the Agreement with me and had it notarized that same day . I then gave it to my husband who had it notarized December **, 2013. I put in the mail December **, 2013. then I waited to her from her. I didn't hear from her so on January **, 2014 I called and was told she was in a meeting. so I left my name and phone number. Waited two days and called again January **, 2014 and was told again she was in a meeting she will get back to me asap. Waited a few more days and called again and was told she was in a meeting and she will get back to me I was angry at this point and told the [redacted] if I didn't hear from [redacted] I will be contacting a lawyer. so finally on

February **, 2014 she called me with the excuse of being sick that is way she didn't call back. then I asked if my papers have been filed with courts. She told me they had not been filed yet but will get right on it. that is when I told her it is now to late by time she files the papers I probably wouldn't get a court date until some time in May or later so that meant no health insurance until I returned to work in Sept. told her not acceptable that I wanted a refund. since she held up the divorce by not filing the beginning of Jan. as she told me should would. She said She would file now but I told her many times it was to late. and I want a refund. and hung up . then later that day I get an email from [redacted] about filing the paperwork . I emailed back to tell her that I spoke to [redacted] that morning and I wanted a refund because it was to late . then [redacted] emailed me that she would give me a refund. and then said that [redacted] has been working on this and can file the papers . I email again saying it was to late. I just want my refund. I did get a check from her on Feb. **, 2014 for $499.00 . I called her and asked where the rest of my money was she said that is the only money I was to get because she did her job . I was angry so I hung up then emailed her for an itemized bill so she can justify keeping the rest of the money. In her emails she basically told me that I wasn't getting a itemized bill and that is that. So here I am contacting Revdex.com and hoping there will a resolution to this problem. thank you [redacted]Desired Settlement: would like to get a full refund.

Yes I have received a check but only for $499.00. I paid $2799.00. I did not cash the check I still have it. [redacted] held up the divorce by not filing the papers the first week in Jan. I am still married. And now have to wait until Sept. to file for the divorce. She was aware of the time line. Again I say, she should have told me in our first meeting that it couldn't be done. She said that I would be divorced by the end of April. I do want a full refund. I am tired of reading her false responses. She doesn't have her facts straight. I thought she was a professional. I was wrong. Thank you , [redacted]
