Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: yes ii am rejecting this response because THEY ARE lying I did not purchase the veloster in I purchased it I was told to TRADE the car in because it had TWO many MILES ON and I was under the impression that is exactly what I did they have a $10,car that I cant get because I can afford the insurance and now they are trying to cover their by getting plates on it yes I have an attorney is involved because of this I have to declared bankruptcy and they know it I was calling [redacted] twice a week to see if my loan was paid off and they said I had to wait 15-days and I did but they kept calling me and it still wasn't paid off so I had to go back to hyundai to find out why the loan was not paid off that is when I found out that it was not TRADED in they did not explain AT ALL THAT IT WAS NOT A TRADE IN I WOULD HAVE NOT DONE THIS DEAL I CAN'T AFFORD CAR PAYMENTS they are not honest at all they are LAIRS THEY LIED TO YOU AND ME THEY ARE DISHONESTand yes I had to bring in the elantra because there were things that had to be fixed non the car before I got it I was in tears when I had to go back there and everyone was looking at me because they know what the manage did to and they were sad about it I can't go back there again because of this and yes IT IS NOT MY FAULT THEY COULD OF EXPLAINED EVERYTHING TO ME BETTER THE SALESMAN NAMESZ WAS [redacted] S [redacted] HE WAS THE ONE WHO SAID TO TRADE THE CAR IN A GET SOMETHING WITH LOWER MILAGE REMEMBER THEY ARE LYING TO YOU Regards, [redacted]

I have read the complaint and spoken to [redacted] M [redacted] who actually handled the refund for [redacted] ***..What I have found in my reviewing [redacted] complaint is the followingWe have no record of [redacted] cancelling or requesting a cancellation for her gap refund from SeptemberMr [redacted] M actually handled the refund in February and actually had the gap insurance cancelled from 7/9/15, which was when she requested it, and when she paid off her old vehicle, ensuring [redacted] would get the entire refund due her, and not when we actually requested a cancellation which was dated 2/16/We did receive payment from the gap cancellation company on 3/28/19, and we cut a check in the amount of on 3/29/Unfortunately, [redacted] should have been told all refunds need to be picked up in person, and a signature is required from her so we can put all of the documentation in her old file and close out this transactionAfter speaking with [redacted] and [redacted] in our office, we unfortunately did not convey this to herDue to the inconvienence we are going to mail out the refund check todayWe certainly appreciated [redacted] business and hope this will close out her complaint [redacted] P [redacted] Hackettstown Hyundai President

Mr & Mrs *** purchased vehicles from usThere contract had a payoff on there old vehicle in the amount of on a KIA Optima with Vin # ***which we sent a check to KIA Motor Finance on 01/06/KIA Motor Finance did not cash our check, and not until the following
month when our accounting department did there bank reconciliation did they contact KIA Motor Finance to find out why the check was not cashedAt that time KIA Motor Finance asked us to ground (payoff) the vehicle through our sister store Newton KIA, on 2/29/2016, we grounded the vehicle and KIA Motor Finance grounded (payoff ) debited our account in the amount of due to the fact Mr & Mrs *** made a payment on there vehicleWe in return mailed out a check for check # *** for the difference in the payoffMr & Mrs *** have brought to our attention that it seems the KIA Motor Finance debited there account for additional monies, those monies have nothing to do with us, and we have all of the backup to prove what we paid and what we paid offI suggest The ***s call KIA/Hyundia Motor Finance for such refund, if that is the caseThe # for them is ***, and they should reference there orginal Vin # to the KIA OptimaIf they need any documentation from us, please have the customer reach out to myself and I would be more then happy to furnish all of the related payoffs documentation for themDrew Picon Hackettstown Hyundai President

These people are not honesty at all I had no need for a second car I live alone one permanent disability I can't afford a second carThey have a document which is a copy I don't remember signing it at all they could of sat down with me and explain everything I was signing and they didn't now I have car loan on my credit 34,000$ I have an attorney to declare bankruptcy like I really want to do thisThey never showed me an original document They are crooks and I will tell everyone that knows this dealership. First let me start by apologizing for no one getting back to you after several messagesIn order to get a refund of the unused portion of your VSC, you are going to sign a cancellation form and provide documentation of trading the vehicle in ( easiest way is to just make a copy of the trade
odometer from the dealer you traded the car into)To expedite this matter, to stop any further delay, please contact myself directly, and I can either fax or email this cancellation form to you for your signatureOnce we received the cancellation form with the documentation for the trade, we will then forward the request onto the company themselves who administrated the extended warrantyprocessing takes around 10-days for them to issue a refundAny further questions, please feel free to call me*** P*** Hackettstown Hyundai Presdident

[redacted] purchased a Used Hyundai Elantra GT from us on 2/12/16. She was given financing options with trading her old Hyundai Veloster that she purchased from us on 3/24/12, or keeping the vehicle. [redacted] decided to not trade the Veloster against the Elantra she purchased. All of her...

documentation does not show any trade, and there is a form she signed that clearly states that " [redacted] is not trading her 2012 Hyundai Veloster against this deal and is fully aware that Hackettstown Hyundai is not trading or paying off said vehicle", we have that form signed by her, she is in possession of that document. She has already contacted an attorney, who has called us, and is aware of the documents she signed, there was no further action from that call. [redacted] made a decision to hold both cars, obviously, that decision was made by her. [redacted], has been back for service with the Used Elantra she purchased and again tried to put blame on us. We obviously, value everyone of our customers concerns and want to maintain an excellent relationship with her, I know [redacted] knows that she was well aware of the situation, and something must have changed in her personal end as to why a month later she is steeping forward with a concern. the VP) asking us to please assist [redacted] and see if there is anything we can do to lower her payment, due to our relationship with her boss [redacted], and [redacted] being a former customer, she came in the next night January 20, 2016, and resigned her loan for a payment of 356.57 for 84 months. At that time I had [redacted] our GSM sit and go over the entire deal with [redacted] as we wanted to make sure she understood the terms, payment, and what we were doing as a courtesy to her for our relationship with her employer. I have personally reviewed both deals, spoken with her boss to let him know what we did to assist her. At this time there is nothing we can further do to assist her.
