Disputing lease Was not living at complex in XXXX-XXXX
The Arts At Bluebonnet Place in Baton Rouge, La informed me that I was liable for a balance of $from when I "stayed" there in XXXX-XXXX I moved out of that complex in the winter of and they claimed I was still on a lease in which my cousin said that I wasn't when she went to sign her documents

Terrible management I live in Jefferson Heights, in Baton Rouge, LA and have file multiple complaints against my obnoxious neighbors Management does not want me to call the police, only wants me to call their "courtesy" officer so he can visit them or give them a courtesy call I'm calling a lawyer monday to discuss my options of getting out of my lease

This is an absolutely horrible property management companyThe managers Brian *** and Stacey*** have refused to fix things in my apartmentI called to speak to other higher ups and was refusedDo NOT rent from this company at allHampton Park Apartments is old and outdatedMy car was broken into while on the property and the company did nothing to further secure the property!

I am a tenant of an apartment complex that MEDVE Group manages in Corpus Christi Texas and I have spoken to different people thereI spoke to a *** that called me back from Louisiana and *** and a Will that are in IrvingThats what the phone number said that came up anywayHere is my issueI moved in to the Saratoga Cove apartments in November last year, didn't have any problems everything was fineBut, after two or three months went by people moved in above me and I noticed they would smoke weed and the smell came in to my apartment from the ventsI didn't say anything at firstIt started getting bad with the smell, horrible stenchI complained not once but more than timesI even made copies of my complaints and took them to the office to have them put in my fileNeedless to say not a thing has been done about the horrible smell coming in to my apartmentI have been paying almost $1, a month to live there and my lease is up on November 10th this year, I spoke to the manager on the property ( Carolina ) last Friday about leaving early without any paying any penalties just whatever the prorated rent would be for October and Carolina said she didn't see that being a problem since she had a lot of people wanting to leaseBUT THENNNNN she calls me yesterday Sept25th saying she can't let me leaveI told her I had another apartment lined up and I CANNNNOOOT STAND THESE GUYS CONTINUING SMOKING WEED AND NOTHING HAS BEEN DONEShe said " how do you know nothing has been done " my adrenaline rises I YELLED AT HER " BECAUSE THEY ARE STILL SMOKING WEED!!! I told herI have called the courtesy officer several timesCarolina told me she was going to put a letter out since she courtesy officer just went out to my apartment last Sunday on the 17th of SeptemberBut again the guys were smoking this past SaturdayHowever, *** whom I spoke to from the MEDVE Group said their apartments are not a smoke free complex and they cannot control what people do in their apartmentsSo she is basically telling me that Saratoga Cove Apartments allow illegal drugs in their apartments for whomever wants to live thereAll that Cassidy and *** kept telling me was that I have to finish out my lease and put up with the weed smell going in my apartment and my grandkids ( yr old and a month old) that come over have to put up with the horrible smell alsoSo now I have to get an attorney involved

Pet fee was paid upon move-in, and issue on their end means that it was not applied as it should have been, they want me to pay it again
When I moved in in August of 2016, I paid a $pet feeUpon move-out, I received an outstanding fee balance claiming that I owe the $pet fee againI email the collections department, and am told that when I paid the fee originally, it was not applied where it should have beenI have several emails from Libby Ponder in which she states that the mistake was made on their endShe alleges that I used a credit I had, that came from this misappropriation of my funds to cover part of my rent payment for October of 2017, I should pay the fee againI believed this credit came from a $move in credit promotion happening when I moved inLibby stated that she has no paperwork about a $move in credit, and I have misplaced the lease I signed over two years ago, of which they should have a copy, proving the move in creditTo summarize, I fulfil

I attempted to removed a collection charge from my credit reportI never received any corresponds from Bluebonnet place
I contact Ray *** at the Medve Group on Wednesday Januray the 8th at 4:26pm in an attempt to negotiate a "goodwill" adjustment on an accountI informed MrIngrham that I was a model tenant during my time at bluebonnet place apartmentsBefore moving out of the apartment I informed local management that I painted my apartment and wanted to know what color to paint it backLocal management assured me I didn't have to repaint the apartmentI moved out of the apartment in summer of I was apparently charged $for the paint and "carpet damages," I did not find out about this however until summer of when I was moving into an apartmentThe property manager informed me I had a block on my credit history because of bluebonnet place apartments and I would be unable to move into the apartment if the matter with bluebonnet place was not settledI i

I lived at The Plantation Apartments in Lafayette, LAFirst off, I have to say living there was greatThe problem was moving outMy husband is currently deployed, we moved out in SeptemberWhen we moved in, it was told we would be refunded part of the deposit back after move outAs was known, utilities would be taken out of that portionWe got the statement and partial check via mail two days agoWe only received back out of First charge taken out was water for The second charge is the problemWe had taken out because I turned in keys days early on the 9/15/We paid rent on September 1, for That rent was for 9/1-9/So we had already paid for 15-of that termWhy did we have taken out you must say? *** said it was credited to our accountSo the problem here it we paid rent for up until the but had taken out of our deposit for days (15th-18th) so yes we were double charged because we paid for those day in the and yet it was deducted from our depositAbsolutely makes no sense, and yet he is yelling and interrupting me on the phoneHe says you weren't double charge though? Oh so why was taken out of the deposit and I had already paid in the total rent check that month on the firstSo yes I was scammed by paying for those days already and then having it deducted from my depositHe kept telling me I don't need to repeat my question? Well you are obviously the one that does not see that I had deducted from the and had paid rent for 1st through the 18thThere was nothing accomplished on the phone with *** so I hung upWorst customer serviceObviously I am not the only person with a bad experience since they have an "F" gradeFor the record, I turned in my keys on Friday 9/because that is the only day I get off in time that the office is still openWe had to be moved out by 9/which was a MondaySo he is saying I was "credited" but that doesn't make any senseI no longer live there or have an account with them and that money was in fact deducted from my deposit

Rent was paid 8/by personal checkReceived call next day saying Personal Check no longer accepted after 3rd of monthCruel and unusual $fee
Attempted to pay rent on August 4thReceived call August 5th saying rent check being declined as late and late fees now taken into account
Late fees for rent are now at $- nearly half of the original rentThis is cruel and unusual punishment that is not in line
I attempted to pay rentI always pay rentThis business is awful

This is the first month I have lived here at Arts at Turtle Creek The staff has been very attentive and nice but the conditions have not improved I finally got in direct contact with the property management: Medve Group I spoke with Brian Kelly and Karen Pe

They offered me a discounted buy off then lied when I called back to pay it and told me they couldn't do anything for me
I called to see how much my debt was and the company advised me of the amount, I asked if there was a discount I could be given if I paid it all and he said yes and offered me 50% of my debtI tell him that I have to get in touch with the other party included on the debt for paymentHe says okay call me back so I can apply itI have literally called him back everyday since times plus left voicemail after voicemailToday we finally get a call back from some lady named Lita and she tells me there is nothing she can do and that I should've taken them pay off when he offered it to meI kindly tried to explain the situation to her but she wouldn't have it, told me to contact the collection agency then she hung up on meIt's pretty sad when I call to pay a debt off from I get treated like that

Horrible experience over the last several monthsmany promises made and none kept

Refused to refund security deposit and lease was never signed
Viewed apartment on 6/3, filled out credit application on 6/Paid $application fee, $administrative fee and $security deposit I never received written notification the application was approved but assumed it was Decided on 7/I would not be signing a lease or moving into the apartment I was told they would be keeping the $ "security deposit" and I would not be given it back I was verbally told by Haylea it was "totally refundable"

This company manages an apartment I lived at in Hurst, TX: The Arts at Park Place
I posted the following review on their Facebook page and rather than responding or addressing it, they turned off the reviews for their page altogether
I'd like to begin by saying that I hate that I have to do this, but having exhausted all other appeal and dispute options save hiring an attorney, I am left to deal with a company whose corporate conscience extends to keeping up appearances on Facebook and other social media outlets
The apartments are a fine place to liveThe people are friendly and there is a good sense of community in the placeThere are not enough dumpsters and trash tends to accumulate outside of the full dumpsters, sometimes for daysThe apartment is adjacent to a large mall and mall traffic
My greatest frustration is in how the management chooses to engage the people who live in the communityFor example, in our third month living in the complex, I forgot to pay the rent on the 1stOn the 2nd day of the month, there was an eviction notice on my doorI took the notice to the office and a very friendly person told me that it was company policy and that if I paid, the letter would go away
This legalistic behavior only got worse when we moved outUpon providing written notice that we were moving out, a note was posted on our door stating that a pre-move-out walk-through would be conducted to alert us to any issues in the apartment prior to moving outEither that walk-through was never conducted, or the results of which were never disclosed to us
Within a couple of weeks, we were emailed our final bill that included the following charges: "Excessive Nail Holes: $50," "Housekeeping, Oven: $70," and "months of carpet life: $315.76."
My reaction was and still is that these charges are unfoundedWe have since moved into a house almost three times larger than our apartment and we pay to have the entire home cleaned weeklyWe are charged $for cleaning the entire house$to turn on the self-clean feature in an oven is extortion
Secondly, neither Texas state law nor The Arts themselves provide any basis for how many nail holes are acceptable compared to how many are excessiveFurthermore, our contract does state that "excessive nail holes will be billed at $eachSimple math demonstrates that $does not divide evenly by 3, so we were charged for 1/of a nail hole or someone saw some nail holes and arbitrarily threw in a $charge
Finally, Texas state law does prohibit charging a tenant for wear and tear of any part of a rented property and "months of carpet life" is the absolute definition of wear and tearSince then, we have been disputing these unfounded charges with The Arts' "in-house collections arm" of their corporate family of businessesMy reasoning is that since it's a relatively small amount of money, people will just pay it without fighting it to avoid a blemish on their creditI also assume that this must happen to anyone who moves outThe most frustrating piece of all of this is that the apartment had plans to renovate our apartment after our departure anywayIt feels like a blind money grab wrapped in the guise of a contract and I am sure that these charges bring in a substantial incomeespecially with families who have no voice or who feel they have no way to dispute these ridiculous charges
I am disappointed that I am having to deal with this after moving out and that I feel my only recourse is to try and turn others away from the disgusting corporate behavior we have endured

Company is overcharging us including notice penalty, cleaning and concessions
I am filing this complaint based on the following reasons: this business is operating in bad faith and has tried to use intimidation practices to force me into paying what is not owedBefore leaving the apartment complex I emailed and spoke with *** Hubert concerning the conditions of leavingI would be charged two months' rent $1850, the concessions of $would be charged back and I would forfeit my security deposit $
I had received no letter, phone calls or emails since leaving, until a notice was mailed to my mother's address saying that my account would be sent to creditors and reported to the credit bureauIn addition to this, I was charged a carpet cleaning $39, an extra $of concessions and an insufficient notice penalty of $
I have the signed lease, notice to vacate and email exchanges to back that these charges are incorrectThis is not how a business should behave and I wo
