They sold me $1600 of defective hair & refuse to refund, claiming "no refunds" even on clearly defective merchandise. Very Unethical business.
There are so many issues & complaints online from unsatisfied clients with both the hair & unethical way *** does business, but I'll remain focused on this particular complaint. My stylist placed an order on my behalf for $1600 worth of hair extensions This is the 4th time ordering hair from this company, the previous orders were as advertised high quality, soft, nonshedding, longlasting, tangle free & beautiful. The hair should have a life of a year or longer when cared for properly & that was my prior experience. My stylist is an expert extension specialist with 15yrs experience & is also an extension installation instructor. She installed $1600 of their product in my hair. Immediately from day one the hair was shedding excessively. Any moving, brushing, washing the hair, it comes out in handfuls, strands hanging loose everywhere, my shower drain clogged from the loss & my vacuum so full of the hair that it jammed. We gave the benefit of the doubt, & waited a week to see if things improved, they did not. As a matter of fact, as the silicone coating started to wear off, it became very apparent that this is not the same product as before at all. This is cheaper & possibly even synthetic. It was rough, scratchy, shedding & plastic looking, like doll hair. The quality is equivalent to a cheap beauty store wig. This is clearly unacceptable, for $1600, one expects to receive a highquality product, at a minimum the same product as purchased previously. My stylist contacted *** & explained the issues, & that we were completely unsatisfied with the order. Her answer'"remove all the hair"(a 4hour jobat who's cost')wait without hair, mail it all back(at our expense) & "they would "test it and see if they could fix it". Unacceptable. The product is very clearly defective, neither the client or stylist should be paying the price for that. I did not purchase reconditioned hair, I bought new hair. I responded they did not get to keep my money & the product. We want a full refund.
Desired Settlement: Refund We filed a complaint/dispute with Amex, & want a full refund. We'll send this defective product back for *** to deal with her vendor directly, that responsibility certainly doesn't fall on the stylist or clients spending $1600 on their product. The business owner needs to address this with their vendor. "Fixing" is not an option, I did not purchase "reconditioned hair" I spent $265 a bundle x 6 $1600 on what was supposed to be a high quality superior product. This hair is clearly defective.
