The owner agreed to charge for 2 weeks. Continued to charge our account for another month. Very poor service.
Mrs ***, I always appreciate feedback - good, bad or other - as it gives us insight as to where we need to grow.
Given the 1 star , I felt it necessary for the public to appreciate both sides.
As per our policy, when you purchase ANY membership, you’re required to read , understand and accept the policy and procedures of the gym. You cannot purchase without it.
However, If I had agreed to charge only 2 weeks and the system continued to charge for the month, then that’s my error.
Considering this Covid-19, pandemic and its affect on small businesses , such as mine, I must apologize for my inability to focus on your account. Our service is usually par none - as per google reviews and yelp reviews - so I’m embarrassed to receive a 1 star from anyone.
I’ll take a look at your cancelled account and reach out to you privately.

The bootcamps at Midnight Sun Athletic Club have literally changed my life! I have been going to them back to back since January 5th 2017. It's been 16 months of 3x/week workouts. I have made so many friends along the way. Some are now far and some are near, but this lifestyle commitment that each of us made has forever brought us together. I have watched my attitude and body change leaps and bounds from the way it was before. I now get excited to get to the gym and do my workout! Sure, it's definitely not easy and there are days that I want to give up but *** does NOT allow us to sabotage ourselves and all that we've worked for. Without her as my coach and friend, I'm not sure I would have lasted 16 months. She seriously loves and treats every single one of us as her own children. We've gone from 2-3 hour cry sessions to late night bingo stress relief sessions! She's helped build up my self confidence so much- I don't know how I'll ever repay her for that. If you're on the fence about joining a bootcamp, just take the leap of faith! It will change your life for the better. Don't feel intimidated, ***and the rest of the bootcampers will ensure that you're as comfortable as possible during this next step of your life! There are people with all types of fitness backgrounds in the bootcamps. This is the kickstart of a better you and a better life! I will forever be grateful for that day I got on Facebook and sent that message to MSAC asking for a tour of their gym.
TW, thank you for your kind words. I'm so excited to watch your physique change every boot camp but more over, watching your attitude toward a healthy living style change!! Can't wait to see where you go with the next one!!!
