This company also operates see more homes inspections which performed the inspection on the house we just bought in may. The inspector missed very expensive issues with the home that are costing us an arm and a leg. The inspector stated we had 8 years on our roof and that everything looked good. The roof has zero years left and is in horrible condition causing leaks in the attic. The inspector stated the attic was also in good condition but has water damage from the leaking roof. The inspector stated that the crawlspace was in good condition with one spot of fungus/mold but the crawlspace was riddled with mold and very saturated with water/humidity. See more homes refuses to take responsibility and basically wants us to just take the loss. Horrible customer service and terrible inspection. I would not recommend this company to anyone who wants an honest inspection and a house that functions.
Review: This company was hired by a mortgage refinance company to come to our home and replace a sidewalk and steps to our front porch in order for our appraisal to be approved for a mortgage refinance. The service provided by this company was far below what was discussed and far below any acceptible quality that should be put forth by a professional contractor. The sidewalk was not poured, floated, leveled and brushed properly. They poorly removed tree limbs from a tree on our property to gain access to the area of the sidewalk with the cement truck. They removed a row of our patio pavers to pour the sidewalk that they have not replaced. They splattered our siding with cement and did not clean it. They left cigarrett butts lying on our property. They did not remove and replace the crumbling steps as discussed, they simply poorly patched them. Yes in the long run our appraisal was approved but now we have a huge mess to clean up and more work to repair this terrible job than what was there before they attempted this job.Desired Settlement: We have not paid this company for this job yet. They are to be paid when we settle our refinance. We are closing our refinance on 8/28/2014. The way I would like to have this handled is I would like to have another contractor come to my property and give me an extimate as to what it will cost to have this job done properly and deduct this from the bill they plan to present my husband and I for the job they have done. We did not get an estimante from this company and did not get a bill yet.

September 11, 2014To whom it may concern:We were contacted by the customers mortgage finance company after the customers appraiser flagged 2 items (steps and sidewalk) that need repaired (safety issues/failed the appraisal) in order for the appraiser to complete the appraisal for customers refinance to be approved. We looked at the pictures from the appraiser and visited the jobsite. We prepared an estimate to remove and replace the sidewalk and repair the steps. The finance company told the customer how much the job would cost and that we would do the work ASAP in order to get the loan processed. We began work on August 13, 2014. We met with the owner [redacted] at the site and discussed the work that was going to be done (remove and replace the sidewalk and repair the steps). [redacted] asked us to make the 3’ walk into a 7.5' walk. We explained the last walk was not excavated deep enough and that we would have to hand dig the 43’ X 7.5”area. The owner, [redacted] asked us to also make repairs to the retaining wall that runs parallel to the house, The walk we were hired to install is between the house and this wall. We explained that we will not do any work to the wall as it’s a “mightmare”. We explained that the wall was not installed properly (its leaning forward, as they did not set it back each tier) and that it will eventually fall in the future. We explained that the entire wall needs to be removed and redone, with a proper footer etc.We prepared the area on Wednesday August 13 and Thursday August 14. The concrete truck was scheduled for Monday August 18. Both [redacted] and [redacted] seemed happy, however as soon as the concrete was being poured, [redacted] left for school or work. She did not say anything to us but sent an email to the mortgage processor that she was not happy. She proceeded to make complaints only to mortgage company and refused to take our calls. We left her and [redacted] each several messages to see why she was complaining. Neither owner responded to our repeated calls. The work was complete and the area was cleaned including any concrete that had gotten on her siding. The tree branches were already dead branches (we have pictures of them) that we had to remove to gain access to the area. The pavers that we removed, we replaced. She does have several blocks laying around, but they were there when we started the job. Also, there are not any cigarette butts lying around, I have photos of the entire project, including the siding which is clean, the pavers lying around, the hill we had to go up to access the area, the tree and the cut limbs ect.I truly believe that the owner was upset that in order to get her refinance on this house she had to spend some of the money on the house. She had other plans for the money. She purposely waited until the concrete was poured to make any complaints, and refused to communicate with us. She was on site, but would only speak with mortgage processor. Later, we discover that [redacted] was furious with us because we said the wall was not done properly and we refused to do work on it. We were not aware that when we said the wall was “a nightmare” that the owner had done the wall with [redacted]'s father. [redacted]'s father was the person who was now telling [redacted] that the steps should have been replaced and not repaired and that the walk was done wrong.I have all the emails and photos to show that the customer's complaint is not reasonable. I gave the customer a $500 discount for goodwill and will not issue any further refund.SincerelySeymour L
