To Whom It May Concern:I consider *** *** to be a valued client in the Signature Level and will do my best to address her concernsI have attached a copy of her non refundable contract that she signed aboveThe contract does not commit to provide matches within one year as *** stated
aboveIt states "If I do not have a minimum of twelve matches in twelve months, my membership will be extended with no charge to meI understand and agree that my membership fee is non-refundable." I do know my clients well, but our business model says that both parties have to accept the match to be a matchIt is not typical but *** asked that we "Only send her accepted matches"-which is why she has not heard from us most recently even though we have working behind the scenes to match herShe was just not aware of it because she refused to look at the men's profilesMost of my clients are local, but one of them is an international lawyer that travels the world for business regularlyHe is in our Premiere Level of the service and so selective that he has not accepted a match as yetHe is due to meet with me in Pittsburgh March 26, 2015. I was waiting to discuss *** with him in person-since he has turned so many profiles down priorI feel she is an excellent match for him primarily because of her intelligence level and travel experience for startersI have either sent her profiles of potential matches (prior to her telling me she no longer wants to see them first) or sent her profile to gentlemen, not including her first matchI do not feel that a refund is appropriate at this time for all of the above reasons and of course the terms of the contractI feel bad that she referred to me as fraudulentThat is a very strong word to use without having proper documented evidenceIn order to do my best to match my client *** I offer to do a version of the Premiere Level for her without any additional chargeThis level starts at $7,and goes up depending on the complexity of the searchThis will allow me to scout for hshe will not be dependent on just private paid clientsIt is very time intensive and I often work with my Client Liaison to assist me*** neglected to tell you that she participated in our image consulting programThis is a free service we offer to clients who could benefit from an update as they step into the dating world. However she did of course have to pay the hair stylist and personal shopper. *** told me she was very pleased with the results and even her friends and neighbors commented how nice she looksThank you-*** ***

How can Susan D*** claim to know me better than I know myself when she has spoken to me leads than times, the last of which was in october 2017? She has no idea what has occurred in my life from September to the presentShe absolutely did not disclose that she could run out of compatible matches during the year of our contract.
Regards,
*** ***

My issue remains with the quality of these matches. In other words, what you're told you're purchasing is not what you do, in fact, receive. I want no further dealings with this organization. And, of course, any communications from me (email or otherwise), are and will continue to be gracious and courteous with respect to their other clients. Enough said.

I do NOT accept Susan's response. Whether she feels she was nasty to me or not, it matters that I BELIEVE she was nasty and rude to me. I jumped through ALL her hoops and it STILL was not good enough for her.If I allegedly had matches, and only went on dates (one of which was a friend of one of her employee's not even someone from her company), I feel that she misrepresented the fact that she had numerous matches for me and the ones she had were honestly subpar. The only resolution I will accept is money returned. I do not feel that she represented herself or her business to me correctly. She kept trying to "change" me. Wear makeup, fix your hair, wear dresses. THAT IS NOT ME. How can she be matching me to people who don't know who I am?!The only resolution I will accept is monetary. I will NOT be going back to her

To Whom It May Concern: Ms*** has falsely accused me of being arrogant, a liar, a manipulator, a sham and a fraud without any proofThese are rather strong accusations without any evidence. I do not display any arrogance to my clientsMost clients, tell me ideally want they want in a perfect match, but also tell me to use my judgment as I know my clients far better than their profilesClients trust my judgment and have the right to turn down any profileThey do not have to meet anyone I recommend and both parties have to accept the matchMs*** did not want to meet some men that exactly met her perfect match requirementsI am not sure why, but that is her prerogativeI did explain my business model and matchmaking process to Ms*** during her initial consultation and have had regular client communications with Ms*** since she signed the contractI am certainly able to fulfill my contractual obligations I only contacted Ms*** to let her know I have added two new recommended matches to her client portal and apologize if I have violated any Revdex.com rules that I was not aware ofMy e-mail (as shown below) did not reference this dispute in any wayI was just fulfilling the obligations of my contract. Hello ***, I have added two new recommended matches to your portal accountWithin moments, you will be receiving a separate email from the system with log in requirements to the online portal. stated aboveIt states "If I do not have a minimum of twelve matches in twelve months, my membership will be extended with no charge to meI understand and agree that my membership fee is non-refundableI was surprised to receive this complaint as *** has not called or e-mailed us to let us know that she has been unhappy with the serviceIn face, quite the contraryPlease refer to the below e-mail *** sent to ***, my client Liaison regarding the said gentleman she had her first date with whom she complained spoke about his ex-wifeFrom: *** *** [mailto:***] Sent: Thursday, February 12, 3:PMTo: *** ***Subject: Update Hi, ***. I thought that *** *and I had a fun lunch, but he's not interested in seeing me again, so it's time to start over. I had listed "***" as a possibility in the original group you presented, so perhaps he might like to meet. Otherwise, I'm happy to take a look at any other recommendations you and *** might have. Thanks, *** I am sorry that *** felt bad about *** * not wanting to see her again, but I have not violated my contract in any way to justify a refundI look forward to matching *** once again

To Whom It May Concern:I am sorry that my client is still not satisfied with my response, and only ask that she will let me do my job and match herI respect her very much and would do my very best to match her with compatible gentlemenPlease note that we do not make a match until both parties agree to meetOf course, we are not present on client dates nor what couples discuss during their datesWe rely on client feedback after each date. My client *** heard about me after she saw me on the Channel newsThey did a feature on my business. *** never told me that she was unhappy in any way-she just filed a complaint with the Revdex.com.*** has only met one gentleman through my service who has done nothing wrojust took her out to lunchJohn has been a client for a while and his background check was fineWe have had only positive feedback from female clients John has met through my service prior to meeting ***I do not feel *** has had enough matches to determine the quality of gentlemen of who we match our clients with. I request to have a phone meeting with my client to try to resolve this complaintWe are in a most personal business, I was not aware she was unhappy, and now am trying to respond as best I can via e-mail.Thank you-*** ***

To Whom It May Concern:I did nothing to violate my contract (see attached) that my client Ms*** signed on August 19, I have not misrepresented myself in any way as Ms*** states and fully intend to fulfill my contractual obligationsPlease note that my contract has a match
guarantee and a no refund policyMy contract states that if Ms*** does not meet a minimum of different gentleman in one year, her membership would be extended at no charge until she does (see below it italics) “If I do not have a minimum of twelve matches in twelve months, my membership will be extended with no charge to meI understand and agree that my membership fee is non-refundable” I have made a good attempt to match Ms*** since she joined the serviceMy match recommendations met most or all of Ms*** perfect match requirementsSince I know clients far better than their profiles, clients trust my judgment when it comes to matching them even if the recommendations are slightly different than their exact perfect match requirementsMs*** has turned down compatible men and only wanted to meet out of of my recommendationsPerhaps Ms*** did not like their photographsIf so, that is her prerogative, but she should not hold me responsible, especially when there is a match guarantee extension on my contractAs it turned out, out of the men Ms*** wanted to meet accepted her request to meet. Ms*** never inquired about the frequency of matchesWith that said, I just added two new recommended matches to her private client portal We constantly search for all of our clients that are not in exclusive relationships as yetWhen we identify compatible matches we do our best to make the recommendations immediatelyMs*** was well aware that being matchmakers, we do not have a constant stream of available men and women to select fromWe will only recommend people when we feel there is enough compatibility and a good chance that both parties will accept the matchWe also work “behind the scenes” and send profiles to prospective matches, but unless they accept we do not see a need to let the client know their profile was declinedWe are always working on our clients behalf. I did my best to show that I did not misrepresent myself or violate my contract in any wayBy the terms of my contract Ms*** is still a client in good standing and I would like the opportunity to complete my job for herI respect her and feel confident that I can match her with a compatible significant other if she would just give me the chance to do so I can be reached at *** if you have any questions. Sincerely, Susan ***, PresidentThe Modern Matchmaker, Inc

My Response to Ms. [redacted]'s complaint is as follows:Ms. [redacted] has been on dates with 8 of my male clients. She would have been on more dates, but has frozen her membership a few times for extended periods. I have also recommended 22 additional matches of which Ms. [redacted] requested to...

meet 13 of them. I was not confused about Ms. [redacted] meeting [redacted] as she stated I was. Both parties agreed to meet and you can see that Ms. [redacted] said [redacted] was "nice" in my attached e-mail documentation. Please refer to the 2 attached photos. The first is how Ms. [redacted] looked when she joined the service and the second photo is how she looked on her lunch date with Joe. Ms. [redacted] did not tell me that she had gained 60 pounds from when we first met. When Ms. [redacted] sent me the photo I told her that I thought she looked great for dress down day at the office, as my e-mail documentation shows. I did not insult her in any way as she claims I did. Then Ms. [redacted] lost the 60 pounds she had gained and cut her hair short. She wanted me to use the photos from her original profile and as my e-mail documentation shows-I told her it is not ethical. She refused to pay my photographer for new photos and even refused to pay my Executive Assistant $50 to take new photos of her for her profile on our private database. Ms. [redacted] called me a liar. That is something I am not. I have done nothing to violate my contract,  respect Ms. [redacted] as a valued client and will do my best to match her. -Susan D[redacted]

To Whom It May Concern,I apologize for misspelling Ms. [redacted]'s name wrong as it was human error. Ms. [redacted]'s supplied photos did not meet our database technical specifications. They could not be sized to fit. And they were not the type of photos that Ms. [redacted] said she would send when we spoke via phone. As a professional matchmaker, I need Ms. [redacted] to help me to help her-to give me what I need (per our business model) to properly match her. I have never said any nasty comments to Ms. [redacted]. I am in a most personal business and always try to make my clients feel good about themselves, while still being honest. I am saddened that Ms. [redacted] feels this way regarding my service, and have many happy clients she could speak with to verify that my services worked for them. Even though I respect Ms. [redacted]'s feelings, I do not feel that she has any proof to be so critical of me. I hope that Ms. [redacted] will give me the opportunity to continue to represent her as a client and fulfill my contractual obligation. It would be my pleasure to introduce her to the love of her life!Sincerely,Susan D[redacted]

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I do NOT want to be her client anymore.  It was a horrible, negative, demeaning, humiliating, horrible experience.  The only thing I want is my money back.  I do not feel that I am a satisfied customer and she did not treat me as such.  Susan misrepresented her amount of clients that would be good matches for me and I feel that I was taken advantage of at a very sad time in my life.I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!!!
Regards,
[redacted]

To Whom It May Concern:Of course I acknowledge Ms. [redacted]'s perception of how I treated her, but do not agree with it. Perception is reality to the person who perceives it. But, my perception is that I only meant well, and feel my comment was not "nasty" in any way. I  have shared my comment with the Revdex.com in a previous response. Why would I be "nasty" to a client that I value and am trying to match? I had and still do have sufficient gentlemen that meet Ms. [redacted]'s perfect match requirements. I can prove anything I say. I do not want to change anyone-in fact no one can change anyone anyways. I only recommended that Ms. [redacted] "put her best foot forward" when going on a date. I recommended that she wear some lipstick to help enhance her features and she seemed upset with me for that. I am not sure why Ms. [redacted] demands a full refund after joining November 19, 2015, (and not contacting the Revdex.com prior) and after she has dated through the service, and the fact that I have not violated my contract in any way. I am not sure where to go from here if Ms. [redacted] refuses to work with me. Perhaps the Revdex.com can advise me. I am still fine to represent Ms. [redacted] as a client by the terms of my contract and the fact that I feel confident in doing so.Sincerely,Susan D[redacted]

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Ms. D[redacted] not only arrogantly claims to know clients better than they know themselves, but also contacted me directly regarding the business in dispute, in violation of the terms and conditions required during Revdex.com involvement.  Ms. D[redacted] has not proactively reached out to me since she got her $3000 and her contract signed.  The last time we spoke, I informed her that I do not trust her judgment and that she I believe that she is dishonest.  Our relationship is irreconcilable.  Ms. D[redacted] claims to have presented me with 23 compatible men.  This is untrue, as multiple men were too old, not the athletic build I specified, two were two young and one was under-educated, out of shape, too old and in an incompatible industry.  Of the four I met, one was religiously incompatible and two were horribly boring and out of shape.  One did not wish to meet me again.  Ms. D[redacted] has displayed to grasp of the ability to complete our contract.Furthermore, with regard to the completion of the contract, Ms. D[redacted] absolutely DID NOT at the time we entered the contract explain that she could run out of matches which would result in me waiting around for new clients to appear.  She is, again, lying and fabricating by claiming that I would have anticipated this situation and taking advantage of the fact that she misrepresented her abilities so greatly that I would not have thought it possible.  Susan D[redacted] is a liar, a manipulator and a sham. She induced the referenced contract through fraud and it is void.  Again, I demand a refund.

I feel it is quite telling when the response from the business who I am a "valued customer" with after TWO YEARS is STILL unable to spell my name correctly.I have sent Susan NUMEROUS pictures, to her jpg specifications and they STILL can't use them in their portal.  I don't feel that I should have to pay them for pictures again.I am very dissatisfied with her business and her numerous nasty comments.  I just feel that others should know, before they sign up for her horrible service and be FOREWARNED.It is my own fault that I did not do my due diligence when I signed up.  That is on me.  But I just want to make sure that others know about her.  Thus the complaint.I seriously doubt I will get any satisfaction from her, thus I am DONE and will not be contacting her again.  I was hoping for some type of monetary recovery, but I am pretty sure that is impossible at this time.
