Ordered a DD mk18 law lower. Received lower with wear marks. Company denied wear marks, until I let them know I had intentions of putting photos online in review. They offered $30 as a former of reconciliation. I accepted, but haven't heard from them again. In the mean time I put the upper on it and it didn't work. Spoke with Laws, and they told me there another piece that is supposed to be with lower. Got someone on the phone at the modern sportsman and they apologized and said they would have it drop shipped from Laws immediately. Spoke with Laws, they never received an order. Have not gotten a been able to reach anyone at the modern sportsman since, nor have I received a call back or email despite sending several emails and leaving several clear messages including my contact information.

The situation has been resolved with the customer. We contacted him immediately upon receiving notice of the complaint. Originally we had provided the customer a $30 dollar refund to cover replacement cost for a LAW Tactical bolt carrier extension plug.
As of this moment, we have refunded the customer $30 and provided the part.
In regards to finish wear on the lower receiver, the item had no such wear when it left our facility. Photos provided by the customer show no signs of wear to the exterior finish.
Receipt of this complaint is the first contact we have had with this customer after issuing the original refund.
I am rejecting this response because:
The claims made are false and an attempt to avoid taking responsibility. I have the text-to-email messages regarding the pictures. The modern sportsman acknowledged the marring around the front pin. The $30 was for the wearing on the lower when received. The part they did not send was never brought up until I tried to install the upper and it didn't work. Once I found out there was a part missing by speaking with other businesses, I called modern sportsman and spoke to someone. In that call I was to receive the missing part and the $30. Neither action took place by the following week and I called again several times. After not receive a call back after several message left, I contacted the Revdex.com. Once I received the confirmation letter from their local Revdex.com office I received a call from the modern sportsman saying they just so happens to be calling to make sure the part was the correct part (there was only one part that could have been missing from the discussion) and that they were putting my refund through for the $30.
Their response to this notice is not truthful and is attempting to put the responsibility for the failures on me. I did my due diligence and spoke with Law Tactical several times to see if they received an order from this company, each time they denied it. I received the part only after my Revdex.com complaint was filed.
Please note I will get my call logs and text messages to prove the actions I've stated to have taken. In my opinion The modern sportsman is not being truthful to the Revdex.com in order to save face and to make an attempt to remove a justified review.
