Review: I contracted this business to repair my snowblower. I had not drained the gasoline out of the machine and it would not start. The Mower Man Inc sent [redacted] over to fix my snowblower in January of this year. He performed this service while I was at work. He left a note starting that the snowblower was running but that it was surging and that I needed to replace the carburetor in order to fix the surging. I came home and started the snowblower and decided that I surging did not affect the ability of the snowblower to operate and decided not to replace the carburetor. This spring I went to drain the gas out of the snowblower and run it dry to prevent having the same issue. When I ran the snowblower it kept putting out a lot of white smoke and shutting off, I could not keep the engine running. When I checked the oil levels it seemed a bit full and I decided to drain some oil out in case it had been overfilled and that was causing the smoke. When I went to drain the oil I discovered that the oil was not motor oil but rather a gas/oil mixture. I drained all of this mixture out of the machine, put new oil in and the machine now runs fine, with no charging. The technician who performed the service put a gas/oil mixture into the oil compartment of a 4-stroke engine. I contacted the mower man company and explained the situation. A temp "[redacted]" called me back and took my story with the promise that a manager would call me back. That was almost two weeks ago and I have not heard back from the company.Desired Settlement: I would like for the mower man managers to contact me, explain how this happened, and how we can avoid it in the future and either a refund or credit towards a future service.
