Most of their dogs are in foster homes in GA, but can be brought up north to be adopted and dropped off at a local location for pievery two weeksI love my new pup, she came with records, healthy and had her shots at weeks of ageI would definitely adopt from them again if I was looking for a second dog
I am highly disappointed with mine and my partner's experience with Star BrightAs a professor and work-from-home photographer with excellent references who have both raised and trained animals all our lives we should have been a shfor adopting *** We met him, loved him and welcomed him into our hearts as we prepared to welcome him into our new home in MaconFor two weeks we communicated with *** and waited as *** recovered from minor surgeryAs we prepared to complete the adoption my partner asked a few questions including the possibility of fostering until payday and the necessity of the microchip***, without warning or explanation, emailed saying we would be unable to adopt *** It was only after multiple emails that she explained that it was the asking of questions - my data driven, biologist boyfriend's asking of questions - that drove her to her reactionary decisionWe are hurt and frustrated by this situationI share this incident to encourage shelters and hopeful dog owners to choose any other avenue than organizations that fail to explain policies and procedures and rely on reactionary and immature decision making processes
This is by far the most professional caring rescue that I have ever come across. They act fast and take wonderful care of the animals they have rescued and do a wonderful job finding them forever homes. I myself and my nephew have rescued two pups from Star Bright and right from the first interview right on up to transport the experience has been great. My Buddy's Transport working with them is fabulous.
