Ms [redacted] would be well advised to choose her words carefullyAny further unsubstantiated claims regarding my honesty and integrity will result in a slander suite brought on by my attorneyPoint in fact, the piano in question was NOT altered mechanically prior to deliveryIt was only tuned as per her request Prior to her acquiring a piano that was not ours, she agreed and paid for the exchange for a [redacted] console pianoHer assertion that this piano would be altered in some way prior to delivery in some way making it unplayable thus causing her to cancel the delivery is absolutely not trueShe canceled based on her own erroneous assumptions She just called me to have the piano in question adjustedWe will make every attempt to adjust the instrument to her satisfaction Beyond any unreasonable expectations, this should be possible

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: Mr*** is utterly dishonest in that I demanded he leave the piano in AS IS condition, aware that I did not like his technical work, at the time of the sale; he refused to respond for over a month when I determined the piano which I had deemed newer in condition (he had ruined the hammers , or another tech had, on a possible replacement piano which I decided would only provide yet another problem in reality), forcing me to seek help elsewhereMr*** shows both utter dishonesty in his professional dealing with a customer and misrepresentation in order to avoid responsibility for his faulty prep work that ruined my purchased, warranteed piano from his shopHe has simply pocketed the money on a grossly overpriced piano that he ruined for my necessary professional use, and he owes me a refund for the pianoTwo technicians have been unable to correct fully his destructive and unrequested "prep" of the instrument
Sincerely,
*** ***

Ms ***l has a long history of never being satisfied with any piano she has purchasedIf you ask any dealer or technician in New York, Connecticut or Massachusetts, they will tell you the way she operatesAfter delivery it always begins with an issue with the hammers than an issue with the action and so onEvery technician in Connecticut knows who she is and the majority do not want to deal with herShe has gone as far as getting *** to agree to change the hammers on a new grand piano and still found fault with the instrumentUnfortunately, I am just another unlucky technician / dealer to have sold her a pianoI will sign any legal document stating that the piano she played in the showroom was not altered in any way beyond tuningThis is the same piano that she agreed to keep after canceling an exchange stating that the piano was now playing fineThe truth of the matter is, this piano never changed from my showroom to her home, only her perception did.
I would encourage you to call any other piano dealer along with independent technician in Connecticut and ask about herThey'll tell you she is absolutely impossible to deal with and never satisfiedAgainst my better judgement I sold her a piano thinking the outcome would be different; I was wrongAgain, knowing how she operates, I or anyone else in the shop did anything beyond tuning to this piano prior to delivery.
I would also encourage you to ask these same people about me and my integrity
In the end, I'm in the same boat as everyone else who has dealt with her; misery loves company

What she is not telling you is that she picked out a replacement piano and we agreed to it. She paid for the piano moving and a date was set. She then cancelled the exchange saying that the piano she is now complaining about was perfectly fine.
She then had another technician alter...

this piano prior to having an authorized [redacted] technician attempt a repair. Her actions voided any money back return. We made every attempt to repair this instrument to her satisfaction. My technician will testify to that. I am more than willing to send my technician back for any other adjustments. She was pleased with the piano when she bought it, cancelled an exchange, pleased with the piano again then not pleased; this woman has issues that have nothing to do with us.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: the piano is the issue, not a gameplan on Mr. [redacted]'s false claim he did not alter the piano. Its hammers were filed and action very much tightened in a prep I forbad at the time of my purchase. I am totally qualified to have observed the undesired changes, and originally Mr. [redacted] avoided tending to the actual problem, the piano, stating I "couldn't prove" piano had been deliberately changed. I am only accepting that he will send a craftsman who is equipped to repair the mess which the undesired "prep" treatment has caused me, my students, my professional life. I accept, to be clear, that, some 2 months later, Mr. [redacted] will support with action his warranty and responsibilities as a seller. His behavior to date indicates a level of professional irresponsibility, evasion, and misrepresentation which we all would call dishonesty.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

Ms. [redacted] would be well advised to choose her words carefully. Any further unsubstantiated claims regarding my honesty and integrity will result in a slander suite brought on by my attorney.
1. Point in fact, the piano in question was NOT altered mechanically prior to delivery. It was only tuned as per her request.
2. Prior to her acquiring a piano that was not ours, she agreed and paid for the exchange for a [redacted] console piano. Her assertion that this piano would be altered in some way prior to delivery in some way making it unplayable thus causing her to cancel the delivery is absolutely not true. She canceled based on her own erroneous assumptions.
3. She just called me to have the piano in question adjusted. We will make every attempt to adjust the instrument to her satisfaction.

Beyond any unreasonable expectations, this should be possible.
