The Mutt Scouts website states that "Prior to becoming available for adoption, each animal is spayed or neutered, vaccinated and microchipped, thoroughly checked by a trusted veterinarian, and medical care provided when needed"

But when it comes to actually adopting a dog from them, they tell you that all of these costs are the responsibility of the person adopting the dog and that you still owe them the $adoption fee in addition to assuming all of these medical costs
