May 11, 2015Dear [redacted] , I am in receipt of your correspondence dated April 27, in which you have forwarded a complaint from [redacted] I have attempted to resolve this matter with [redacted] but after leaving voice messages on two separate occasions I have not received a return call[redacted] complains that she received an award notification from us and but in order to claim her prize she must first provide us with a copy of her driver's license and social security cardAs you are probably aware, The Federal Trade Commission and the Internal Revenue Service both require that we collect a W-form from all winners of prizes valued at more than $The minimum prize value in our sweepstakes is $We are further directed by the I.R.Sto, at year's end, mail a form to the winner so that they can report the value of the prize as incomeTo complete these forms we need information including the winner's first & last name, address & Social Security numberTo document this information we ask for a copy of the winner's driver's license and Social security numberOur attorneys have cautioned us that if we fail to accurately report this income to the I.R.S., we could be held responsible for paying the taxesWe simply are not in a position to incur that expenseI hope this clears up any confusionCordially, David N Executive Director

Initial phone caller (after responding to the mailer); stated minute presentation then if we did not want to purchase anything, the vouchers for travel and days hotel would be given This is not true After driving an hour to this location, minute presentation; used car sales guy couldn't even sit down for minutes so we could ask some questionsThe whole presentation was centered around $yearly membership but final slide of the presentation was $10,for something; not sure what along with the yearly membership No vouchers for travel at the end as stated; you must mail in a card along with $for each traveler (money order or cashiers check of course) then they allegedly send the vouchers but with far too many restrictions Its clear that this is a racket designed to separate people from their money Don't respond and stay away from this!

Received flyer in the mail and didn't call also due to the reviews here & as the old adage goes "to good to be true"My flyer also says "previous attempts" to reach us were unsuccessful BALONEY PLUS who gives $away for free

DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT FALL FOR THIS FREEBIEI received the same flyer as many of the reviewers did and was immediately skeptical Thank you to all who wrote your reviews it only solidified my initial perception "Too good to be true." I will continue to use my reputable travel agency knowing exactly what to expect

Received the same flyer which did not even disclose qualification terms. That alone is a warning. Did not bother to call after checking reviews here.

Initial phone caller (after responding to the mailer); stated 90 minute presentation then if we did not want to purchase anything, the vouchers for travel and 2 days hotel would be given. This is not true. After driving an hour to this location, 90 minute presentation; used car sales guy couldn't even sit down for 2 minutes so we could ask some questions. The whole presentation was centered around $299 yearly membership but final slide of the presentation was $10,000 for something; not sure what along with the yearly membership. No vouchers for travel at the end as stated; you must mail in a card along with $50 for each traveler (money order or cashiers check of course) then they allegedly send the vouchers but with far too many restrictions. Its clear that this is a racket designed to separate people from their money. Don't respond and stay away from this!

I attended a 90 minute presentation on 4/12/2015 with my wife and was promised 2 airline tickets to anywhere in the US as a "prize" from the scratch off ticket given for attending the presentation. I mailed all the required documents to claim the "prize", of which they requested a copy of my Social Security Card and one government issued ID, which I sent my driver's license. At the time I thought it was legitimate as I met with the people and they seemed credible. However, when I was trying to get the status of my "prize" and was given the run around, I knew it was some sort of a scam. I gave up and didn't expect the "prize". However, I am filing this complaint because of the potential of identity theft as I sent a copy of my social and driver's license. I have copies of all the docs I sent including a certified mail receipt with signature and contact numbers of the people I worked with. The person who conducted the presentation is Jack and his phone number is 404.941.0159. Their presentation material they were using was for a company named D[redacted]. Now that I search the internet, it looks like a lot of people are on the same boat as me and this was a scam.

We received a letter in the mail about this business. We were very skeptical of them, so we were very cautious. We did show up for their "presentation." The salesman immediately noticed that I had written that we would never own a timeshare, but he swore this company is not a time share company, but a "travel company." I made vague comments about not enjoying travel much, that we mostly just go to NY for NFL games and wine tours/fall foliage, etc..We mentioned that we like B and B experiences...he countered that THIS company offers LUXURY hotels, etc...hmmm...the B and Bs we have encountered in the NY Finger Lakes region have been QUITE luxurious....The man(Bobby) was quite perceptive. He could tell almost immediately that we were onto this company's scam, so he rushed us out, telling us he wouldn't waste our time, that they overbooked anyway, so we could get our "FREE" flights and Marriot room voucher immediately." WHAT A JOKE!!! I read the "guidelines" for those! We felt sorry for the poor people left in the room for the two hour presentation. (Actually, we travel quite a bit and use a personal, reputable travel agent).....BEWARE of this company!!!! It will waste your time and figure out a way to take your money!! Why else would they ask for a personal credit card from "one" of us? Why do they demand that only couples dwelling together are eligible for their presentation?

May 11, 2015Dear [redacted],
I am in receipt of your correspondence dated April 27, 2015 in which you have forwarded a complaint from [redacted]. I have attempted to resolve this matter with [redacted] but after leaving voice messages on two separate occasions I have...

not received a return call.[redacted] complains that she received an award notification from us and but in order to claim her prize she must first provide us with a copy of her driver's license and social security card.
As you are probably aware, The Federal Trade Commission and the Internal Revenue Service both require that we collect a W-9 form from all winners of prizes valued at more than $600.00. The minimum prize value in our sweepstakes is $900.00. We are further directed by the I.R.S. to, at year's end, mail a 1099 form to the winner so that they can report the value of the prize as income. To complete these forms we need information including the winner's first & last name, address & Social Security number. To document this information we ask for a copy of the winner's driver's license and Social security number. Our attorneys have cautioned us that if we fail to accurately report this income to the I.R.S., we could be held responsible for paying the taxes. We simply are not in a position to incur that expense.
I hope this clears up any confusion.
