National Congress Of Employers NCE Health insurance underwritten by Unified Life Insurance is a scam intended to defraud the consumer public It is not ACA compliant however this is not disclosed in any marketing material, applications or purchase material, it is only disclosed in written form after the insurance product is purchased It is vaguely mentioned as part of a rambling telephone call asking if you understand the product before purchase however this simple fact is intentionally omitted from all written product material prior to purchase of the product Additionally it is hard to qualify this product as insurance when the maximum payout value if all benefits are consumed is less than half the insurance product premium value The tables are intentionally vague and misleading causing the public to believe they have a valuable insurance product when in fact they are paying more premiums than insurance value This product is designed to defraud the consumer public and is a sc

NCE Insurance rep called few days ago to offer a new insurance program Listened to their sales pitch claiming it is a PPO insurance so you can go to the doctor you choose They also offered accidental death benefit, dental coverage and other member benefits After the first sales person, I was transferred to a different person saying that I have to verify some information for the death benefit insurance and other benefits At the end, I talked to four different person each taking some information from me or verify something with me
After all the contract and paperwork got filled online, I received an email explaining some of the benefits under NCE plan Found out at that point that it is not a health insurance but a membership discount program which don't even qualify as official health insurance under the new tax law I immediately called few of the call back numbers I was given and realized no one will answer the phone Couple of the numbers do not even allow me to leave me

NCE (National Congress of Employers Association) / Unified healththis company is a fraudthey trick you into thinking this is a legit health ins that you wont get dinged for during taxes, the agent Zachery Z*** told me I can cancel within days I called the next day to cancel but was giving me the run around and told me if I canceled rates can go upBut I told I'm ok with that, them he proceeded to tell me that I wont get a charge until the next months hahaI was like how is that possibleI was trying to cancel! then after having to repeat myself over and over about canceling he decided to tell me that I would have to send proof that I still ghad health ins, BSbottom line is they are NOT TELLING YOU THEY TRUTH S DONT PAY THEM NOTHINGI called a different # and got connected to UNIFIED PLUS " supposed health insurer" and they canceled my policy and are supposed to refund me, I have emails stating thatbut it better be true cause I will dispute themBad Mistake

I was contacted by this company just days after my husband lost his job The company was pressuring me into buying this insurance coverage by saying that we would pay a huge financial penalty on our taxes if we didn't purchase health insurance right away Also pressured me into believing that this was actual health insurance and then the card they send out and the website tells you it's not health insurance Our *** was debited a total of $3,for insurance that was useless

This company initially contacted me via cell-phoneThe sales agent claimed he obtained my information from the healthcare exchangeI plainly inquired multiple times both throughout the discussion of available plans as well as the confirmation of benefits whether the major medical plan I purchased was in fact major medical and whether or not the plan was ACA compliantI was told the insurance I was purchasing was major medical, and it was in fact ACA compliant as wellNone of the "in-network" providers listed by the company could confirm their status with NCEIn fact, all of the administrators claimed they had never heard of this company beforeWhen I called to request my insurance tax form, the representative said, "Absolutely, we'll send that out to you." I called to cancel the policy the same day because my husband received a job with day insuranceThe lady, Karen W*** that we purchased the policy from said she was canceling itThey then proceeded to take two months of payments from my checking accountI called MsW*** multiple times before she gave me the customer service numberThey sent me a form to fill outThey canceled the policyI never received a policy number or paper work because it was canceledThey took from my account for two months and a dollar feeThey are supposed to reimburse me the dollars but I have not received itThey refused to refund the rest because the form was not filled out until November

none of "providers" on list actually take their health "plan" making it completely useless for my medical needs

I have been billed for the last months for a Discount RX plan that I cannot use in Alaska according to the website It is illegal to sell someone a plan that is not valid in their state Customer Representative said the website might be outdated but she knows it is valid in Alaska (she was very short and pushed me off the call) I asked for proof that I approved this plan because I dont ever recall providing approval (I have never received a membership card or any information from NCE)She said this is voice verification and it would be a violation of HIPPA to send me my own voice verification (interesting) This appears to be a fraudulent company

I contracted the services of this company that appear online on HEALTH INSURANCE COMPANIES search even if they deny they are a health insurance company when you need them The customer services takes several minutes of waiting on the telephone, unacceptable if you have an emergency I was at the doctor's office for my annual checkupPreventive medicine is most welcome to most insurersWhen it came to lab services this comany informed lab tests were not included Lab tests are mandatory for any procedure, medication or general testing
I had to pay my own lab tests and decided to cancel the policy, after losing $plus and received NOTHING I want my money back, We were on the phone the day of the purchase and they never informed me such an important thing as the lab tests were not included This company is a fraud advertising its services and providing the services

I was insured by the United Life Insurance Company which seemed to be under the National Congress of EmployersI had issues with them from day and when I had an emergency room visit that should have been covered, I was informed that the insurance was not validI called the United Life Insurance Company to which they informed me that my account had been closed without notifying me, although my card was still being chargedI reopened my account to ensure that I was insuredI did not receive any additional documentation that I was insuredI called back days later and they informed me that insurance did not reach my zip code

I spoke with Dante when I was looking for a new insurance for my family...Dante offered me insurance that would cover 80/all regular doctors visits and well checks...and pre existing condition was ok...and that my deductible would be for hospital or major life events only...I went to the doctor for my annual checkup and I was informed that my insurance does not cover anything...no well checks no labs no shots for my kids...NOTHING

departments and people before I can get anything resolved with this company.Once all the refund is received, I will post some information so to help others who need to go through the same process to getthe money refunded. It took me quite a lot of effort calling various places to find the contact number.  My bank statement detail did not show any number to contact under the transaction detail.  Normally you see an contact number under the transaction detail but this company don't show any information.  I had to do some telephone numberresearch in order to reach the  person who can take care of the cancellation and the refund.Sincerely,[redacted]
