I am rejecting this response because:I am going to address some of Kristen B***'s responses as follows:Initially I was referred to The Natural Path to Health by the AANP December (Assoc of Naturopathic Doctors) who informed me several weeks ago informed me that Kristen had dropped her membership with AANP as of January (several weeks after I saw Kristen for my initial exam) The hard part with researching a competent Naturopathic Doctor is that they are not regulated by the State of MN, only registered I find it very sad and equally pathetic that Kristen feels that I manipulated her as a critically ill patient by passing bad checks...very untrue By only giving patients the option to pay her for services rendered with post-dated checks, this allows Kristen the freedom to provide or not provide the services she originally promised She originally told me that she was very good at diagnosing difficult health cases...but following her exam of me she prescribed several standard vitamins of which I could easily pick up at the local health food store and had already tried previously She did not give me a diagnosis or even a hint as to what might be causing some of my critical health issues I Found it very difficult to schedule my initial appointment with Kristen because she was always too busy with other patients to set it up Any phone conversations with Kristen were always rushed, curt attitude and she was always claiming I was taking up her time, but oddly enough, our conversations did not come to much I did not call her on a weekly basis as she claims, and never once did I say that I was happy or satisfied with her services I never swore at Kristen, or conducted myself in an unproffessional manner towards her When I picked up my one supplement, it was hidden in a set of drawers in a dirty/unkept porch...that is where her other clients would pick up therir supplements also During my exam, her son was left alone downstairs behind a curtain and when I picked up my supplement she had her son help me find it while she was with a patient upstairs The whole approach to Kristen's business is unprofessional and not run very well When Kristen called me recently to cash my last two checks, she said they were going to expire and that she couldn't cash them past a certain date My bank directed me not to give Kristen two more replacement checks because they were concerned she would cash all four....as it turned out she did cash my last two checks sgainst my wishes I sent my complaint to the Revdex.com to try to obtain my money back for lack of services, but also filed the complaint to warn others not to waste their time, money and energy on a Naturopathic Doctor who should not be practicing...in my opinion even if they are critically ill and she is their last their last hope Whether I get my money back or not, hard lesson learned in my part I do not feel that filing my complaint with the Revdex.com is a waste of time or frivolous...that is a call Kristen cannot make or judge It is disappointing that Kristen cannot see this situation from a critically ill patient's point of view...but she is clearly desperate for money instead

see attachedRE: ID ***Here is a quick outline of these claims, followed by a detailed report of the situation.Patient ** wrote several postdated checks that she then claimed she had insufficient funds to cover the checks for monthsWhen given an opportunity to replace the checks to
give her more time to pay her debt, she refused to do so, so that it was necessary for me to deposit the months old checksIt is not unethical for a business to deposit checks for service rendered, but it is illegal to write checks with insufficient funds.Patient ** was satisfied with the treatment plan and service given at the time of writing the checks after the initial visit, as well as months later in e-mails and phone callsPatient ** became "dissatisfied" when she refused to replace her bad checks with new ones that would give her more time to paySee below for a direct e-mail quote from the Patient ** thanking me for my services and simply stating that she cannot pay for the services provided to her.Patient claimed she had no funds to support the checks she wrote to me, but when I deposited them directly to her bank, they informed me that she had plenty of funds to pay the checksIt is impossible to assess the 'competency' of a plan when the patient does not follow through with the planPatient ** claimed at the end of the visit that she cannot take any medications or supplementsShe was aware that my treatment plans would include supplements per her signed intake forms and phone call conversation prior to coming to her first visit with meComplex health histories usually require follow up lab work and visits to resolve the health concernsPatient ** did not follow up with lab work or visitsNor did she follow the treatment plan.Patient ** read and signed the intake forms, including: "Please note that payment is due at the time of each visitCash, credit & debit cards, checks as well as HSA debit cards are accepted."Checks were postdated (not predated) and written after the visit was complete, a treatment plan had written, printed and provided for the patient after agreement that she was satisfied with the treatment planI have a professional office in beautiful, well-maintained hundred year old houseIt is common practice in StPaul Midway area and it helps me continue to provide excellent service to patients at an affordable rateHer comments about my office and skills as a doctor are unfounded and developed simply for this claim because she was angry that she failed to manipulate me.She received a thorough first office visit with treatment plan for her money spent PLUS an extra hour of an initial visit plus numerous hours of continued support through phone and e-mails completely without chargePatient ** attempted to take advantage of my generosity and patience, became angry when she failed to manipulate me and is now abusing the Revdex.com to file a claim against meThe Customer contacted me in December wanting to schedule an appointment for my services as a naturopathic doctorI explained to her that my first office visit was $for 1/hour visit during which we would develop a treatment plan that would include lifestyle suggestions and botanical and nutritional supplementsShe scheduled an appointment in January because she was waiting for funds, but called weekly to see if she could schedule earlier and pay laterMy schedule was full, so I was not able to schedule her earlierI explained to her that payment is due at the date of service, but was willing to work out a payment plan if that would help herWe agreed upon $per week for weeks to pay the $service charge, but informed her that if she wished to purchase any supplements that they had to be paid for before taking them homeThe first check was postdated for after the first visitShe came to her appointment on January 4th and filled out intake forms that she read over and signed which included information about my payment policy that cash, credit, debit, checks as well as HSA debit cards were accepted, the cost of the initial 1/hour appointment of $180, that supplements involved additional charges and that she was personally responsible for paymentShe also read and signed a form explaining that my services included recommendation of nutritional and botanical supplementsShe took 1/hours to explain her history when I told her we would have to wrap up and develop a treatment plan as I had other patients waitingWe discussed labs that would be helpful to understand her health concerns and how to treat them and supplement recommendations that would help her conditionAt this point, an hour after the appointment was supposed to end, she explained to me that she cannot tolerate supplements, medications and even foodI explained to her that she knew prior to her visit that my treatment plans involved oral supplementation and so there was limitations on what could be done, but I worked with her to develop some therapies that would not involve oral consumption and some gentle supplements at very low doses so she could slowly increase her dose as needed for her fear of taking anything orallyThe treatment plan was developed together so I knew she was comfortable with the plan and she agreed about the recommendationsShe did want to continue with more health history, but I informed her that the appointment was over an hour and I had patients waiting so it was not possible that day, but we could get started with what we developed so far and add to the plan in a future appointmentShe chose to start on only one of the recommended supplements and add in later, but said she would work on the therapiesI agreed not to charge her for the additional hour of service and so the total came to $One check was for $69.59, with post-dated checks of $for the next weeksIn her complaint, the patient stated that the checks were pre-dated, but they were all post-dated including the one that was supposed to be paid at the time of service, but I had already provided her with 1/hours of service which was supposed to be 1/hoursShe wrote the checks out after the appointment which I had taken a very thorough history and developed a treatment plan with which she was at the time satisfied that would address her very large limitation of not being able to take anything orallyShe came the next day to pick up a topical product as a therapy and thanked me for my advice and patience with her budgetI was able to deposit the first check on January 8th, but when I did not get to the bank on the exact date of the next check, she informed me that she no longer had the funds in the bank the following day and that the checks could only be deposited on Fridays with no room for flexibilityI explained to her that this was a huge constraint on a business and she asked for me to delay depositing the checks even furtherI was able to deposit her 1/15/check on the 30th and then she said she had no funds to cover her next checks. The patient continued to call and e-mail me on a weekly basis for emotional support and free health adviceI explained to her that she should follow the treatment plan that we had already developed, including the therapies that did not involve oral intake and I gave her suggestions on how to work slowly with the oral supplementsI advised her to come in for another appointment or to see her other physicians for further medical advice, but she said they could not help herI also provided information on social services and sources for housing and food if she needed them and agreed to wait longer on depositing her checksHer unwillingness to share with me her actual needs caused me to doubt her honesty about the situationI waited over months after I provided her with my services of a naturopathic consultation, that she would have sufficient funds to cover the checks that she wroteMy bank will only accept checks within months of the date written on the check, so I contacted her one week priorShe said she didn't have money to cover the checksI then offered to her that if she would give me replacement checks with new dates that I would hold off longer to deposit them, up to the end of the year if necessaryI felt this was very generousAt first she agreed, then stated she need to buy a bed and didn't have time to mail new checks to meWe renegotiated that she would bring the checks directly to my office the following MondayI then received an e-mail from her stating, "Thank you for the services you did provide, but I cannot pay for anymore in the future! I wish you all the best in your business." She informed me that she would not cover the checks she wrote for those servicesI was then informed that she actually had funds, but was taking advantage of me because of my generosityI sent her an e-mail stating, "I have been very supportive, flexible and patient with your situation, even though I barely know you as a patient and have spent a lot of time, totaling hours on the phone and e-mails of uncharged time in your supportI am not asking for you to pay right now as you claim you are in a difficult financial situation and I have been sympathetic to your requests from the beginningBut I do ask that respect me as a business person and health care provider and make attempt to pay for the services for which you have already receivedWhen I asked you last week to follow up on this promise to pay, I trusted you once more that you would follow up on your promiseI request that you keep to your promise to provide post-dated checks today."She never returned my e-mail or called meI waited one more day to give her the benefit of the doubt, but having been told that she was being manipulative and dishonest about her funds, I decided to go directly to her bank to avoid the possibility of getting additional NSF fees if the checks were not goodThe bank teller said that there was plenty of funds to cover my checks of $each and paid them outThe following day, ** called me and as soon as I answered she was belligerent and angryI tried to explain that I was more than willing to work with her, but she needed to treat me with equal respect as I had given her for months, but she just yelled over me with profanitySo I told her that I had to end the call and she could call me back when she was calm and could speak to me with respectShe called back three times in the next few minutes, yelling each time, so I had to stop answering the phoneThe next I heard was her misinforming complaintI know she is angry because she failed to manipulate me any further, but her claims that my office is in a rundown home is dishonest and the result of her striking out against those who have tried to help and support herI have a professional office in a beautiful, well-maintained hundred year old houseIt is common practice in StPaul Midway area and it helps me continue to provide excellent service to patients at an affordable rateShe also continued to thank me for support I provided her mostly without charge (except the original visit) until I asked her to simply provide me with new checks so I could continue to giver her more time to payI went on beyond what is expected as a doctor and business womanThese are claims and she is abusing the services of the Revdex.com to last out at someone who tried to help, who kept patience much beyond what is expected of a business and a doctor. She never followed through with most of the treatment plan that I developed with her input, including labs we agreed were vital to resolving a large part of her health problemIf she knew that she could not tolerate the treatment plan that I had to offer, she should have not contracted for my servicesShe cannot assess competency if she refused to follow a treatment plan typical of naturopathic doctorsIf she wanted energy work or some other hands off treatment, she should have sought a practitioner that does that kind of workIt was always clear what my services involved and I stand behind my original treatment plan and that she needs much more careIf she did not believe she could cover the checks that she wrote, she should have informed me prior to accepting my servicesIt is not unethical for a business to be paid for services rendered, but it is illegal to write checks with insufficient fundsI work often with patients that have difficult financial needs because I am generous and wish to serve all persons in needI have a lower rate than most doctors to make this possible and do what I can to help a patient work within their budgetBut I ask in return that the patients who I am helping treat me with honesty and respectI believe this patient was trying to manipulate me because of my kindness and flexibility, was dishonest about her ability to pay and was trying to take advantage of my businessShe had read that my treatment plans would involve oral botanical and nutritional supplements in her intake forms, I had explained that to her in first phone call with me, so there was full expectation on both parties that her treatment plan would involve oral supplementationShe used my services and went over by an entire hour of the contracted time before she gave concern about the options that involved oral intakeEven though I made adjustments to the treatment plan to include more non-oral treatments and gave additional hours of support on the phone and e-mail without additional chargeI provided my services as agreed and much moreShe attempted to break her agreement of paying for those services by writing checks and claiming that she had insufficient funds to support those checksShe is now trying to slander me and my business because she failed to manipulate free services from meCopies of her signed intake forms, the complete treatment plan and thorough history may be provided after the patient signs a release formI also have copies of emails showing that she was satisfied with my services until I finally cashed her checks 4/27/I will attach the unsigned samples of the intake forms for your perusal
