Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below [To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]I had asked this company, when they called to cancel, if we could change to the Monroe area (not Milford) which is away from downtown and her response was "we actually won't be driving at all that weekend because of the downtown area events since they are coming from the KY side to get to our location for pick up" At that point, I said fine, cancel your contract since they could NOT follow through and were unwilling to even go with the change of staying away from downtown. Then a friend of mine called to set up something for that same weekend and he received a voicemail stating that hey were available any day that weekend I feel that they just didn't want to deal with driving to our location and backed out Which in return, put me in a bind to hurry up and find someone to cover this 21st party for my son which I have college students coming in for I want nothing from them at this point...I just thought it should be known that this company backed out of their contract and they do not hold true to their commitments Regards, [redacted]

Hello,       I am deeply sorry the client feels they need to write a written complaint to the Revdex.com for a disagreement concerning party bus service for a future date of 9/6/15.  First of all we do not typically rent our vehicles out on labor day weekend going to the...

downtown Cincinnati, Ohio, or Northern Kentucky  Riverfront area due to the road closures, traffic and in some cases cannot physically get to these locations due to the WEBN fireworks and Riverfest.  We were going through our future bookings and noticed that the 9/6/15 rental had requested  destinations for downtown Cincinnati (Horseshoe Casino) and Newport on the levee ((Hofbrauhaus) which on 9/6/15 will be difficult to reach.   We emailed the client to let them know their itinerary would be difficult if not impossible.  We did not want them to sit on a bus for hours sitting in traffic, or have to walk long distances to get to their destination.  The client called us and asked if they could change their itinerary to local destinations in the Milford area, we agreed this would be acceptable.    We sold the package as a shuttle which is a pick up and drop off with open ended time in between, we typically do not offer this package on a weekend but the client was going to rent on a Sunday, we agreed to do the service and even allowed two extra stops which we usually charge extra for.  We were trying to accommodate the customer's requirements and feel we exceeded them in offering the extra stops.  We at no point cancelled the contract or service agreement.  The only issue we had is with their itinerary.  We received another email from the client asking if we could change the date to Saturday 9/5/15 and we were ok to change the date, and even offered other dates.  The issue with the 9/5/15 is the client wanted the same destinations on their original itinerary which the city of Cincinnati, Covington, Newport start blocking off streets the day before the fireworks.  There is no issue with driving the client as close as possible to their destination and they can walk the rest of the way, and there is high probability the bus would be sitting in traffic (paying for hours in the bus not going anywhere), (paying for transportation and walking to destination)   these are the reasons we do not typically book to downtown Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky (Covington, Newport) on labor day weekend.  For the same reasons we do not offer pick up and drop off service to Riverbend music center and end up having to stay the entire time of the concert due to the police road closures and one way traffic situations.  We deeply regret not noticing the the restrictive date and destinations when taking the original booking, and we notified the client as soon as we noticed the date and their stops on the itinerary.    The client emailed us and asked us to cancel her contract, again I want to reiterate  we did not cancel the service and are still willing to work with the client.  We have not charged the client anything, this complaint is for a future service we have not performed yet.  We would rather  be upfront with our clients and let them know of traffic situations, road closures, and delays way in advance rather than just provide service and the client find out last minute while they are sitting in traffic, and cannot guarantee they will be able to reach their destinations.    As for her comment about being held liable I am not sure what she wants us to be liable for since we have not charged her anything and only have a written and signed agreement for service in the future that we are still willing to do.
                   Sincerely,
                                 [redacted]
