I had got a call from *** *** had a *** that would not fire.They had it towed over here.We pushed it in & I tried to start it.It did not start.Put a lab scope on #coil it had voltage but no driver signal.Went to the computer & checked
it there still no signal then I checked the crank & cam signals at computer both were good.Then checked for voltage & grounds at computer, all goodIt needed a computerCalled *** at Auto Cool & gave him prices for new & used computerEither one would have to be programmed to the VINHe called me back and told me to get a used computerGot used computer from salvage yard and installedCalled *** *** *** *** & *** came over & flashed computer and he started this car .It was knocking as soon as he started it he imediately shut the car of* my tech saw spark was jumping off the coil on #*** pulled the coil & spark plug outThe ground electrode was almost burnt off and there was carbon tracks on the side of plugThe owner of the vehicle was misinformed there was no test drive done on this carI called *** & told him that there was a bad knocking noise in the engine, and it looked like the car had never been maintianaced *** told me they maintainaced the carWe pushed the car out sideI told *** that it needed to be towedHis mechanic came to get the carAgain was told not to drive it, that it needed to be towedThe mechanic drove it off to their shop .Remember this car was towed to me not runningI did the servies they ask me to do, the car is running nowNever seen this car beforeI have no history on the maintenance of this vehicle & It looks like there wasn't any done.We worked on the electrionics, not the mechanicalI do not know what was done at *** cool before they towed it here and asked me for my services
