Ms [redacted] , I am sorry that the experience with North Columbus Surgery Center & NMBS (billing company) has not been positive All calls are logged with the billing company as are the billing statements that are mailed out to the patients They are in the processing of pulling both logs for me to reviewAs far as your account, due to HIPAA I rather not go over your account information over the website as it states and I quote "Please understand that the customer's complaint and your response could be publicly posted on the Revdex.com website (Revdex.com reserves the right to not post in accordance with Revdex.com policy)Please do not include any information that personally identifies your customer By submitting your response, you are representing that it is a truthful account of your experience with this customer The Revdex.com may redact the complaint of your response to protect privacy rights and to remove inappropriate language." All patients are notified that North Columbus Surgery Center is not in network but we file your in network rates The signs are posted in all the patient rooms, in the lobby and at all the check out windows You were also given a copy of your signed consents and we ask you as the patient to read all pages and understand your consent to procedure, rights, billing, etcPlease feel free to go back and review your consents, or I will be happy to mail you a copy with your signatures so you can review what you signed As far as your concerns with your insurance coverage and required payments, that is an issue that you must take up with your insurance carrier We have no control over a patients plan or coverage and are required to obtain payments in accordance with those plans You as the patient are still responsible for your co-insurance and should be aware of your policies, which are sent to you yearly from your insurance carrier If you have any questions to what your coverage plan was during the time in question, please contact your carrier and obtain a copy of your policy for reviewThank you

I apologize for any confusion to your account. Your wife called NMBS on 9-22-and discussed your account findings on that day. The phones at NMBS are
recorded and logged
The EOB that you may be seeing is the professional services fee EOB and not the facility fee. If you will revert to all your signed consent under the finanical responsbility the facility is "comprised of two parts (1) the physician and staff providing care, (2) the facility and advance technology required to provide you with complete and cutting-edge care. As a result two different bills are generated when you have a procedure in this facililty - one for each componet listed above." The quotation is a small portion of the page financial policy. The $500.00 is applied and split between both services that were rendered for your deductible then it is covered at 100% after meeting your deductible. There is no refund due on your account at this time. If there is still a question in regards to your account please contact your insurance company they can outline and better explain to you what your patient responsibilities are as a policy holder. They can also reach out to the billing company at 1-877-276-and speak with *** *** who is our senior account representive. If you would like I will mail you a copy of all your consent so that you can them to review
