Review: I was contacted first by Cell phone which I didn't answer and no message was left and then at work by Kim of this law firm and told that one of my clients had filed a claim against me. When I asked for more information about the claim and what exactly was the purpose of the call, she said that I needed to provide my date of birth prior to receiving any information from them. I told her I wasn't comfortable providing this to them and I asked for a written letter or email with specifics about the claim action. She said a letter was sent to me via postal mail on February 5, 2016 which I didn't receive. I asked to either resend the letter or email me the claim info and she said its as against the law to resend the letter. I then consulted with my attorney and called Kim at this law firm back and told her that under the Consumer Protection Act that I disputed this claim and not to call me back at work.Desired Settlement: To receive information about this "alleged claim" and a verification that this is a legitimate business and not a scam or fraud call. Also, verification that it is an illegal practice to ask for private, personal information such as my birth date prior to explaining the purpose of the call and nature of this "alleged claim" .
