The Niles Company, Inc. Reviews (2)

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # [redacted]. Please add your rejection comments below. I've supplied documentation of their policy, that states that vehicles may not stay more than 3 nights over a 7 day period. Enclosed also is trip itinerary from a international vacation I took out of Florida to Nassau from March 18th-21st. Both myself and my guest were not present in the USA during this time. The alleged "violation" assumes the vehicle was parked over 3 days in a seven day period, which was not the case. Furthermore, video camera footage will show my guest entering the building the morning of the towing just before 7am eastern when the vehicle was parked. The guest was not overnight the night before, nor anytime from March 18-21st, well within the rules. I've also enclosed an email from the VP of the company who has now resorted to intimidation stating my guests vehicle will be towed from here on out, regardless to if the parking rules are followed. I've reached out to two lawyers that specialize in property management harassment and unfair treatment, and intimidating my appeal by banning my guest who has stayed within the rules is not acceptable. Furthermore, my request for evidence of [redacted]'s claims and asking for video to be reviewed has been denied, as it would be damning evidence they are making up and cannot support that the vehicle was there more than 3 days overnight over a 7 day period I'd like my $161 payable by check and I would like the company to allow my guest to continue to park when visiting as the rules have not been broken.I've called prior to this towing in regards to another guest that had a notice on the vehicle when it had not been there for more than 1 day and received no answer from the company or call back. This was weeks prior. As stated in earlier emails with [redacted], I've yet to had an issue with towing as my visitors are informed of the policy. [redacted] wants to defer this to my landlord as though its her issue. Last time I checked, his company towed the vehicle wrongly, not my landlord. I'm requesting $161 to be refunded. I am using Revdex.com in interim as I prepare my small claims court case which will be filed if this cannot be resolved, which ultimately will be much more expensive for [redacted]'s company as the evidence I have will stand up in court, and the evidence he has is not substantiated or based in fact, especially in telling me "I looked into the tow of the [redacted] on Tuesday, March 22 and found that the vehicle was on site for several days, the vehicle was in visitor days after the tow as well." I'm glad I have all his words in writing as it will be very easy to defend, down to receipts for tolls and gas from my guests vehicle from days it was very much not in the parking lot for "days", and very much abided by their policy. Never know a company to be so stingy and outright rude. All I wanted was an apology for the misunderstanding, I could live with the $161 charge. Now my guest is banned and I'm uncomfortable and feel not in my right as a resident to have people over. I hope in this email and with the evidence provided this can be escalated.
Regards,
[redacted]
