I placed an order on May 13th, 2020. It is May 19th, 2020 and my order still was not processed or shipped. I will be filing a complaint and getting my money back, even if I have to go through my bank. Unbelievable.

I have purchased from The North Face website online multiple times. The customer service is HORRIBLE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. There seems to ALWAYS be a problem when it comes to the actual delivery of my package or trying to do a return on the product. But they gladly take my money with no problems. I just spoke with a supervisor by the name of Tracy from NF customer service today. Companies and businesses advise you there calls are recorded, but I'm starting to highly doubt that, because she was too comfortable being so rude and disrespectful. PROBLEMS I'VE HAD IN THE PAST: 1. NF delivery carrier is UPS. UPS does one delivery attempt then transfer to an access point. I have had packages claiming failed delivery/customer not in on first attempt when I was right in my living room waiting. I have taken that issue up with UPS. 2. I don't have a NF account. When I order something and need to return it, I use the prepaid label they usually send with the package. I have had items in the past that I sent back, sitting who knows where for a week or more with no tracking update, come to find out NF had it the whole time. How do I know? I've been told this by NF customer service itself. They advised me once it reaches a certain point, it just halts tracking information. On their end, they can see exactly where the package is, on the consumer end, you have no idea. 3. NF customer service will tell you anything. I've been told it can take 7-10 days(not business) from the date you return the item to receive a refund. I have also been told it can take 2 weeks from the date you return the item. There is no consistency within NF customer service. 4. They like to tell you it all falls on your bank, and when you will receive your refund. FALSE. Anytime I've received notification that "they received the order" it takes no longer than 3 days to access my refund. It all falls down to when NF once to release your refund. NOT the bank.
PRESENT DAY: I placed an order 3/31/20. I received it 4/3/20. I SENT IT BACK THE SAME DAY I RECEIVED IT WITH THE PREPAID LABEL. It is now 4/15/20. There is still no tracking update info. ONCE AGAIN, SAME PROBLEMS FROM BEFORE. I called NF 4/7/20, spoke to Josh, advised him I had not seen any movement since I sent it back on the 3rd, he basically told me " You have to just wait!" ONCE AGAIN, I'VE HAD THESE PROBLEMS BEFORE. I tried to explain that to him, tried to explain what NF has told me in the past. He was so rude and not trying to here it. I called NF 4/15/20 spoke with the supervisor Tracy. I tried to explain the situation to Tracy. HER ATTITUDE WAS ATTROCIOUS.
THIS IS WHAT TRACY TOLD ME:
1. it could take 3 weeks to receive my refund( once again inconsistencies)
2. yes, it's common for tracking not to be updated for a long period of time( once again I stated that before)
3. she advised me that I made certain claims to UPS...Once again like before..I advised her of the access point problem..how it's taken no where near my address..I also advised her..you're making claims..but I have dates from when I spoke to UPS about this problem..I have supervisor names and reference numbers to account for the problems I had with UPS themselves and the delivery of my packages. You(Tracy) shouldn't make claims or accusations if you do not know what you are talking about. ONCE AGAIN HER ATTITUDE WAS ATTROCIOUS.
4. Tracy let me know "I always ask for a manager when I call" Yes. If I'm having problems with packages, refunds, and the representatives are rude and nasty..WHY WOULDN'T I WANT TO SPEAK TO A MANAGER?? What's so bad is..the managers/supervisors are worse than the customer service representatives.
5. I have this problem EVERYTIME with NF..not just recent because of this pandemic..one might say, Why keep ordering from them?? This could be my breaking point! I've never had someone be so rude to me about something I have proof of, pattern of bad business, and try to make it seem like it's the consumers' problem. Tracy was nasty, after I had already advised her the representative was nasty prior. Why wouldn't I want to speak to someone who I think is going to handle the problem??? Right? She proved me wrong. She spoke over me, would not let me speak, and dismissed everything I told her. But how? When I have proof and can account for everything I tried to state. AND I STILL HAVEN'T RECEIVED MY REFUND.

I contacted their customer service because I wanted to return an item but they ignored everything in my message and told to send it back to SEE if it would fall under the warranty. I would like to return the WOMENS 1996 RETRO NUPTSE JACKET that I ordered from Order #*** for a full refund. Whenever I wear the jacket I experience an immense amount of down shedding. When I take off my jacket my clothes underneath are covered in pieces of feathers. I did not suspect such poor quality from this jacket and tried to ignore it but it's embarrassing to take off my jacket is public and be covered in feathers. This jacket is cheaply made for such a high price tag.

North face customer service lied to me they promised to process me the refund and I did receive the request release of funds and they faxed it to my bank. I waited for one month but never received the refund I followup with north face customer service today 2/10/2020. They said sorry we can’t process the refund. What a big scam. Don’t ever purchase anything on the online. Be careful

I have messaged them on *** and have emailed them to inquire about why the Recon Men’s Backpack online says the laptop compartment is fleece lined yet the backpack I received had no such fleece lining. I definitely will not be doing business with this company after the false advertising.

After being a North Face apparel wearer for years, I came on a situation that I thought instead of throwing the worn apparel away or donating it I would use their offered lifetime warranty. I had a coat for 7 years and loved it. Warmest coat, etc etc. I tried to find another to purchase, but after this amount of time the style was no longer available. I filled out the warranty info, PAID to ship it to North Face, only to have it teturned to me 3 months later - unfixed. They claimed the product was not genuine. I asked my husband who purchased it for me if he bought it on a street corner. No, in fact - he produced the receipt FROM A NORTH FACE STORE!!
The lifetime warranty is worthless! Either that or they sell their own non-genuine clothing. Either way = customers lost.

I purchased a pair of The North Face (TNF) 110 Ultra shoes on 10/7/2018. I started wearing them on short day hikes in November 2018, but due to the wet, cold conditions in the northeast, I didn't wear them very often in the months that followed. Nonetheless, by March the shoes were blowing apart at the seams. I posted on TNF's *** page inquiring about a replacement under their 1 year warranty, but was told that the shoes would only be covered if the "tread looks new." That means their warranty is a complete sham, as shoes worn for even 1 week on a hiking trail won't have tread that "looks new." The bottom line is that TNF's products are junk and they won't honor their own warranty.

horrible customer service. I have been on hold for 20min and counting trying to speak with a customer service rep. I returned my item (new and with tags attached) using their free return shipping label on jan 9th and according to tracking it was received on Jan 24. It is now feb 12 and I have had no refund issued to my credit card. The free shipping free returns on their website is turning out to be a complete nightmare.

Hello, I bought (***) ladies boots in late Dec 2018 $150. I spent more than I intended because I liked the style of this boot and because the reputation of North Face lead me to believe these boots,not made in China, would prove to be durable. My 1 year warranty expired and the boot heel where the rubber meets the leather has begun to fall apart allowing water into the boot. Will NF stand behind the product and repair or replace? I seriously doubt it after reading these reviews. I did email them but do not expect a favorable response. I am a young girl and gently wear these boots. It’s not what I expected from TNF.

We recently ordered gift for a relative for xmas and didn't receive all that was paid for. I called was talked to extremely rude and told weight was correct. I'm a grown person with a business and was basically told I was lying. I will never buy anything from this company again.

I have returned my product to the local store on November 20, 2018.
It is now December 10 2018 and my credit card was NOT yet re-imbursed.
Terrible product and poor quality service..

It is absolutely unprofessional to be treated this way by North Face company, I am trying to call customer service for more than three days now, and wait for 2-3 hours at a time, hoping that a representative will answer. They claim that their products have lifetime warranty, so they can ask an astronomical price. I sent a jacket for repair and after 6 weeks they sent it back still peeling. No apologies, no concern for me, the customer who paid a big price for a good quality jacket, and never got any quality.
What a disgrace !!!!
They completely ignore my request to replace the jacket. I DO NOT WANT YOUR patched up work anymore.
NORTH FACE WHY don't you use tape and fix your products.

I sent a jacket back that the logo was peeling off, I overnighted it to tnf company on money to warranty, I never received email back in reference to them receiving, all the sudden I receive a gift card for 65 dollar which I paid more than that for the original jack wish I would of sent receipt in as well but didnt. I then place an order on 8-25-2018 3 day shipping, low and behold today is the 5th of Sept and still no jacket, I call tnf customer service whom I speak with a customer service person than a supervisor, I was on the phone between tnf and fedex for 52 minutes only to get more information directly from fedex then I did tnf. Both representatives showed NO CARE in my opinion. I as the customer did their jobs VERY VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THE NORTH FACE I WILL BE SURE TO TELL EVERYONE NOT TO EVER BUY FROM THEM, after they get your money they DO NOT CARE ABOUT you the customer, whom is paying their salary for being able to come to work to do a job that I ended up having to do
