Fr [redacted] To: co [redacted] Subject: case ID [redacted] Hi, I am responding to the letter I received regarding case ID 11 [redacted] I’m a bit confused about the complaint. It appears as though the... resident is complaining about a package not being received but then the complaint background is about a specific product. The Oaks on the Square is the apartment community where the resident lives. The resident states the package was signed by “PICALA” but we do not have any employees here by that name. We do the best to make sure all packages get to the proper person. I have included the section of our handbook, which is part of our lease, to clarify our responsibilities in regards to mail/packages: Each apartment is assigned a mailbox. Mailboxes may be shared by multiple residents living in the same apartment. Mail is delivered daily except Sundays and holidays. Notification of USPS packages and special deliveries will be placed in the mailboxes. Due to the key fob access of our property, delivery services will not be able to bring packages to your door. The community has a 24-hours package access area located in the 1st floor hallway of building 5 ( [redacted] ) just beyond the office. You will received notification via email and/or text message when you have a package. Residents receiving packages too large for mailboxes should pick them up in the Leasing office. Management will sign for your delivery. We only accept packages for people listed on the lease. These packages may be picked up anytime during office hours; a photo ID is required to pick up packages. We reserve the right to refuse any package that is too large for our office or is considered suspicious or hazardous in any way. We are not responsible for loss or damage of any such property. We do not ship packages from the office. There is a U [redacted] store in the building located in the Price Chopper parking lot. Please let me know if you have any additional questions. Thank you for your time, [redacted]
