Unfortunately we are unable to change or credit the rates that were established by the City of San Antonio and that are written in the City Ordinance Chapter

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: First of all, the SAWS representative hung up in my faceSecondly, No one told me that a repwould be out to re-read the meterThe rude representative also informed me that my bill will increase next month.Thirdly, I informed SAWS that I was out of town for three months last year yet my bill remain the same even though no one was home during the time-frame of Aug-Oct I still cannot fathom how one person is utilizing $110-$of water which includes half of sewer charges This is ridiculous even though I am at work hours a day, days a weekI still suspect that they are estimating the water usage as they have stated from Nov-MarNo way that they can explain no usage of water for months yet I have the same average amount during that same time period Regards, [redacted]

Account was reviewed and a total credit of $was applied to the account on 11/9/2015. Contact was made with customer on 11/9/regarding credit applied and new balance left on the account

Unfortunately we are unable to justify any credit adjustment at this time. We can only base the usage by the monthly reads taken at the meter. We do recommend to our customers to verify reads with their monthly bill read and to also monitor their irrigation usage

On 8/19/the meter read was verified to be correct. Unfortunately we are unable to tell the customer how the water was used or wasted. The only credit we awere able to apply and justify was the previous adjustment of $and $in late fees

The mission of the San Antonio Water System is to provide the highest quality customer experience in the most efficient, effective and professional manner possible. We strive to ensure that every customer and employee contact is an opportunity to create satisfaction and loyalty The
San Antonio Water System is a Municipal utility which is governed by a local board and city council. Our rates and service policies are set by these local entities which can be found in the City of San Antonio Code of Ordinances, Chapter SAWS bases residential sewer billing on the average monthly use of water during three complete consecutive billing periods, which is called the “winter average period.” The sewer rate for the first three months is based on a standard rate of $per month. Once we have three months of consumption history, we will use an average of that consumption to calculate the sewer charge, up to $per month and there would not be any reimbursement of the standard sewer rate billed Thereafter, the sewer charges will be based on the average of the usage during “the winter average period.” The water supply fee directly funds the acquisition of new water supplies to reduce San Antonio’s dependence on the Edwards Aquifer and is assessed on all potable water service There is more information about winter averaging, as well as SAWS Residential Water Service charges on our website at SAWS.org Respectfully, *** ***

Customer is inquiring on previous account which was listed under a different name. Previous customer did have a leak, and a courtesy adjustment was applied on 8/23/for a sprinkler/commode repair. A courtesy credit of $122.32 was applied for 25% of the water loss for two months. We are unable to provide any additional credit to the account. A leak at the property is the responsibility of the owner, SAWS provides a percentage of relief for the water loss as a courtesy

Credit was applied and balance on the account is $Unfortunately the online information is what was billed and will not update with any changes made to the account after billing
