The Omelette Chefs

I couldn’t have asked for any thing better! I wanted to enjoy the event which was a baby shower for my daughter and I didn’t want to worry about cooking. Laurel talked w me n I felt so good after talking w her. She kept in touch n I would email w questions n she was the best. So easy! Chef De’Neir was awesome… The service n food were wonderful. All the guest just raved about how good the food was n what a great idea! Chef De’Neir did great w 34 guest n getting them all served in an hour. Everyone said it was the best! Now some of my friends have used them also and we live on the Eastern Shore. Made my day so enjoyable. Thanks so much to Chef De’Neir n Laurel n her staff……They we’re all so nice n helpful. Definitely a Top Act!

In response to the complaint from this client, we catered an event at her home on June 26th, The clients were happy with the service and had no complaintsThe client then called on July 11th, (days later) to complain that our chef had scratched her floorAfter investigating with our chef it was determined that the scratches were not caused by us and that this client had damaged her floor and was just trying to get The Omelette Chefs to repair itWe sent the client and email stating that we could not cover the damage because she waited so long to make the claim and she responded in an email stating this was none of our businessSince the claim was not reported immediately and not even within hours after the incident the insurance company would not have covered the damages anywayWe have been in business for years and have only minor incidents which we immediately took care ofPlease let me know if this is detailed enough or if you are in need of more information from meYours truly,Ralph H [redacted] The Omelette Chefs Catering###-###-####

Once again I would like to state we did not damage *** ***’s floorShe contacted us two weeks after the event to inform us the floor was damaged by our chefOur insurance company denied the claim because anything could have happened to her floor in those two weeksThe Omelette Chefs agrees with the decision the insurance company made thus we are not repairing any damages. I am rejecting this response because: I did not damage my own floor and attempt to unethically seek money from The Omelette Chefs to fix itThe chef who catered the event admitted to damaging the floor to me the day of the partyHe stated that a pebble was trapped under his cooler, therefore when he dragged it across the floor, the pebble left a large scratchOtherwise, I would not have known who the damage was fromNow, the company is attempting to somehow place blame on the customer knowing that it was the chef who damaged the floor and who already admitted to itI have written documentation from Ralph H*** admitting the chef damaged my floor, even though the chef claims it was a smaller portion of the floor than actually it isI also have guests who witnessed my conversation with the chef and the damage the day of the event who can support my claimI'm happy to submit the written documentation admitting fault and have those who were present at the time of the conversation submit statementsI am simply asking that the right thing is done and the part of the floor that was damaged is fixed

chef it was determined that the scratches were not caused by us and that this client had damaged her floor and was just trying to get The Omelette Chefs to repair it. We sent the client and email stating that we could not cover the damage because she waited so long to make the claim and she responded in an email stating this was none of our business. Since the claim was not reported immediately and not even within 72 hours after the incident the insurance company would not have covered the damages anyway. We have been in business for 27 years and have only 2 minor incidents which we immediately took care of.
