Review: On 12/5/14, I purchased an item offered on [redacted] as a guest. I am unable to access [redacted]'s involvement as they show no record of the sale though I have proof in my email confirmation.I purchased the exact same item as NEW and unopened from my local [redacted], a string of LED Christmas lights.The [redacted] description matched the new product from [redacted].But when the item from The Open Box Shop (OBS) arrived, the 3 boxes I ordered were indeed opened and the product inside the boxes were not the same type of product I bought as new from the store.The description reads "warm LED" as appears on the boxes that arrived. But the products that arrived are not warm but instead a brilliant white color.Clearly there was a switch in products from what was originally in those 3 pre-opened boxes and I feel this constitutes fraud. But I cannot travel from Chicago to New Jersey to show my evidence in small claims court.I wrote the seller directly and they refuse to pay for return shipping. They refuse to send a pre-paid shipping label. Though they offer to pay for shipping later if they deem the error was there's. But how is this possible if the item they sell is an opened box?Desired Settlement: I request a pre-paid shipping label with tracking number at seller's expense to return the fraudulent merchandise. Once received, I request a full refund of the original purchase amount, or $78.70.Thanks.
