This "business" is a complete scam and very unprofessionalI moved into one of their properties on Tuesday May 2016, where I paid security deposit and rent, both that same day because I had thirty days to move from my home prior to I moved my things into the unit and left back out to drop my U-Haul offWhen I returned back to the unit, I discovered the unit was infested with bed bugs, roaches and spidersWhen I initially did a walk through, it was dark, and a very rushed processI asked for a full refund within hours after physically moving into the place for which he did not consider at all I also never signed a least, neither did I have a hard copy of oneHe emailed me a Renters Checklist which appeared to be a least before handI am now in the process of taking legal actionDO NOT rent from this property company, for you WILL be highly disappointed!
My family experienced a very similar situation to the other reviews I’ve read about this companyThis property management company is very unorganized, unprofessional with lack of communicationMe & husband viewed the property located at *** ** *** ** with Renee back in AugustWe absolutely loved the property, but Renee’s attitude was off, she didn’t greet us, & she wasn’t the friendliestThat immediately gave us a bad vibeWe didn’t submit an application right away due to that specificallySeptember comes around & the property was still listedWe decided we’d go ahead & submitted an application, because we did truly love the propertyOn Friday 09/15/me and my husband submitted an applicationThat following Monday & Tuesday I called the company because I noticed we never received a curtesy email stating that they received our applications, I never got an answerOn Wednesday morning 09/20/I emailed them for a status update on our applications & I never got a response, so I called again later that afternoon & finally I spoke to Renee she informed me that they did receive our applications & that the turn time is normally to daysI was expecting to hear back from the them that Friday 09/22/Friday comes I didn't hear anythingMonday 09/25/I called & again I spoke to Renee she informed me that they were only pending our referencesI asked which references so that we can help speed along the processShe did release that information & insured that they would follthemselvesToday I sent another email expressing how me & my family loved the property if there's anything we can do to help speed along the process please adviseI quickly received a response minutes later that specifically stated "This property has been rented"I then replied how this was a huge inconvenience to my family & there was a communication barrierThey then offered to transfer our applications to another property which let me knows we were approvedI kindly asked that they withdraw our applicationsI honestly believe discrimination played a huge role in what took placeThis puts my family back at square one
We left our rental unit following the proper process associated with discontinuing our rental lease as we moved in during the month of JanuaryWhen we completed the walk through of the unit once moved out, it was mentioned that certain things were not "clean" enough including the bathroom, tub, stove and top of the refrigeratorApparently we needed to return the unit in a manner in which new tenants could occupy the residenceThere was quite a bit of stuff that was placed by the garbage to be removed via special pick up as wellWhen we tried to schedule the pickup we were informed that since we no longer resided in the unit the property managers needed to call on our behalfUpon receiving our print out of all fees incurred following our move out our security deposit of $1,was deducted to a mere $as a returnWe were also to be issued a credit of $for over payment for water on top of the security paymentAfter two years of paying rent in a timely manner and leaving our unit in adequate shape I was appalled by the exorbitant amount of "fees" that we were charged which included $400+ to "haul the remaining trash" (which was already placed by the garbage) as well as $350+ to "clean the rental unit" but we were charged only $to "repair a broken door threshold" following an incident in which our child who was under the age of two at the time locked himself in his room, $to "replace a pair of blinds" and $to "clean out the stove" (which they took our $water credit from)With a clean rental record and all the cooperation we provided as renters I would never rent from this property management company againI feel that the ridiculous amount of fees we were charged reflects the greed and clear dissatisfaction felt about us discontinuing our tenancy in the winter monthsFor us to potentially have $1,($1,plus $water credit) coming to us in returns security and to be given $is insulting Ultimately for a renter not to receive any of their security deposit I would assume the rental unit would have to be returned in a manner that would make it near uninhabitableThere were no holes, signs of excessive wear and the cleanliness manageable as I would think every property company would complete a cleaning themselves for the next set of residentsI am sure that many individuals who did not have the capacity or diligence to return their unit in a manner that "made the grade" also never received any of there security deposit or so many fees were tacked on that very little was returned much like us I am convinced even if a rental unit was returned in pristine condition that these individuals would still try to cheat people out of their security depositDisappointing and clearly bad business
