The Osselaer Company Reviews (3)

Company is horrible never calls people back and makes up excuses as to why they can't fix stuff have called about my gate being damage after the storm and they come back saying someone's around working on fixing them. Liars they never came also they accuse people of things that aren't true the association really needs to get a new homeowners association cause this company has the worst customer service I have ever dealt with in my life I would not recommend them at all they always try to ignore the problem and make excuses for everything. Want to know what there doing with the money we pay for the homeowners association cause there not using it here said they was going fix things around the complex and they haven't sticking it in there pockets.

This company does not respond well when asking to help R&R regulations, in fact, there too busy making money on false accusations and let the real criminals get away with regulations they break. They continue to discriminate against disability and race to suit their greed. They are the worst management company in the nation. They always put the blame on the a city code compliance and force the homeowner to confront the accused neighbor to deal with the violence that will be forthcoming.

I never received a return call from Mr. Hoffman or Mr. Osselaer. Unprofessional business all around

Mr. Osselaer,

I hope the New Year finds you well. Unfortunately, my husband and I were surprised to receive a letter from Mr. Hoffman dated December 30th, 2014 in the mail. I have never been met with such a lack of professionalism or common courtesy.

Excerpt from Mr. Hoffman’s letter:

“All vehicles must be parked in the garages; your renter has three vehicles. They also have a motor-cycle they keep in the garage so they cannot put two cars in the garage; therefor two cars are parked in the guest parking areas. Two of the vehicles must be parked in the garage. I have spoken to your renters about the parking situation. Owners or renters cannot park in the guest parking areas. Your renters told me that they are going to move please let me know if this is true and if not they will have to work on getting their card in to the garage.”

I first called and spoke with Mr. Hoffman on November 18th, 2014 about the parking situation at The Village at Sonoran Hills. It was a very polite conversation in which Mr. Hoffman instructed me how to obtain parking passes for my family until he was able to speak with the board about a recent situation in which approximately 8 residents had their vehicles towed from the parking structure across the street. Mr. Hoffman informed me he would call me back within 1 week. I had to make multiple phones calls to his office and leave multiple messages on his voice mail and with the office receptionist. I also sent two follow up e-mails which were not replied to. Not once did he return any of my calls. I had to call repeatedly in one day to finally have the receptionist put my call through.

- Not in my original e-mail: I was told he had not yet spoken to the HOA and to wait longer. -

The above except from Mr. Hoffman’s letter seems to imply that we are parking in guest parking areas without the verbal permission of Mr. Hoffman. He verbally informed us twice exactly which two parking spaces to park in and what to write on our parking passes until he had spoken to the board. We have not heard from Mr. Hoffman until the referenced letter arrived. To cc: our landlords in a letter that makes mention to my family considering the possibility of moving due to the situation is proof of Mr. Hoffman’s complete lack of professionalism. A property manager should in no way inform a tenants landlord they are considering the possibility of moving. That is a decision my husband and I should make.

I made it very clear to Mr. Hoffman that my husband and I did not want to move, but would accept the decision of the board if it was not in our favor. We are not opposed to change and I was in no way using the possibility of moving as a threat when speaking with Mr. Hoffman. The parking situation changed (no longer being able to park across the street or at the school) and my husband and I were married in August ’14, thus bringing the addition of a 3rd vehicle. We tried to address the situation and find a resolution prior to any decisions being made. Instead we were met with the actions of Mr. Hoffman.

I would appreciate a return phone call to address my e-mail by Tuesday of next week. I feel a return e-mail would be disrespectful.
