***, Very frankly, that is kind funny, as you know I have heard all of the" I am doing it as we speak", beforeI do not believe you had any intention of doing anything you saidYou have not done a single thing you committed to since I booked with you on June 18thRecently, when it was time for you to do, as you said, "make things right" we had no returned calls, no e mails "with the dates"Nothing I could not risk setting up something with you, booking the time off and getting my son and I excited for a hunt that was not ever going to happen If I receive the check this time as you say I will, we will go our separate ways *** ***

I have reviewed the response made by the business, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me

We had a great hunt in Wyoming. Both my son and I took nice mule deer. The outfitter and his wife were the nicest people we've met while hunting. We look forward to going back soon. The Outdoor Pursuit took care of our licenses and stamps and provided us with an equipment list and driving instructions. We will use them again.

Dear [redacted], First, I apologize for not refunding your money from last year.  I thought we had sent it to you.  As we speak, [redacted] is writing a check to you.  I will put it in the mail today to the your [redacted] address. After you receive the refund, I recommend that we probably go our separate ways.  I am sorry that you did not receive the dates for hunting this year but after your email below, I don't feel we can give you the proper hunt. I hope you find a good hunt. Sincerely, [redacted]The Outdoor Pursuit  [redacted] Hello all, I Love hunting and the hunting industry.  No where else in this modern world do I see good behavior so prevalent.  A mans word is his bond.  Integrity is everything.  A consistent willingness to help, to give back to go above and beyond.  In addition to my hunting fellowship, I have seen this demonstrated by the Outfitters I have had the good fortune to hunt with.  [redacted]  ** [redacted].  For this I count my lucky stars and say thank you.  The following is only for your information and reference. I had a good report on the WY Pronghorn hunt that [redacted], Outdoor Pursuit, arranged for my 12 year old son and I in 2011 with the [redacted].  It was a great hunt with great folks, so when my oldest son took up hunting I call [redacted] to set up another WY Antelope hunt.  It started out fine but crashed in a hurry.  I paid my deposit 6/18/14.  I provided all of the information for [redacted] to get my sons WY Pronghorn license.  When my other WY licenses arrived in July I called [redacted] and learned he had not yet bought it.  I had to provide all of the info again.  Two weeks passed and still no license in the mail.  I called [redacted] back again.  He apologized again and said he would get it that day.  Two weeks passed again.  I called again and once again he did not obtain the license but now it was too late, no licenses were available.  It is hard to buy a pronghorn license and I could have easily done this myself if he had asked. He promised to find one, to make it work.  Never did he proactively call me.  Each time I called him he was "working on it", then as hunt time approached, the outfitter was in the hills guiding sheep and was unavailable to see if he had a place to hunt in one of the two areas in WY that still had licenses.  Finally we were out of time.  I called [redacted] and no surprise [redacted] helped and lined up my son for a hunt with an in law of [redacted]'s and we had a great and successful hunt.  [redacted] said he wanted to make it right with us, that he would return my deposit and arrange a hunt for my son in 2015, he would call me in January to make arrangements.  Late January he had not called so I called him.  He called back and said yes he wanted to make things right and he would call me the next day.  A week later with no calls from [redacted] I called him again and sent an e mail.  Still nothing so on February 16th I called again and [redacted] answered his phone.  He said "do any of those dates work for you"  I was floored because I had no e mail from him.  I told him I did not receive them and he said he would send them when he got into his office.  Now after 4 days and three more calls leaving my numbers and e mail address I still have nothing.  I have never received my deposit back.  At this point I can not trust that even if he says he has a date and an outfitter arranged that it is true.  Falls are busy with work and other [redacted] and I cant trust him to do anything he says.  If is was one misstep I would not be writing as we all make mistakes.  As you can see this is a pattern over 9 months time of consistent deceit and neglect.I am writing to you so you know to beware of Outdoor Pursuit and the word of [redacted].       The Outdoor PursuitPhone: (307) 634-7375 300 E 8th Ave., Cheyenne, WY 82001 [redacted]@theoutdoorpursuit.com View Additional Email Addresses http://www.theoutdoorpursuit.com/Regards,[redacted]

A large group of us (7 hunters) booked a trip with The Outdoor Pursuit with the following understanding: we would the only group at the lodge, there would be a guide for every two hunters, and [redacted] would provide directions, license information, and supplemental information as the hunt drew closer. Instead there were 4 groups at the lodge (several of us had to stay at a hotel until others left), there were 2 guides for 11 hunters, and, had we not finally contacted the outfitter directly, we would not have even known where the lodge was. The other group in the lodge reported a similar experience.
I suggest you cut out the middle man and work directly with the outfitter. That is how we did it in the past and how we will do it in the future.

In October 2016, I had booked a Elk hunt for my son and I, through Brian for September 2018. I have given Brian a total of $7,380 for this hunt One month ago, I called the Outfitter that Brian supposedly booked my hunt with and the guy had never heard of me. The Outfitter went on to tell me that he will no longer do business with Brian because of payment issues. He said that he has received bad checks etc.. from him in the past.

I called Brian immediately afterwards and asked him the Outfitter didn't know who I was? I told him that I wanted my deposit money back and Brian said that that was fine. I asked him to send me a certified check but instead he sent me personal checks for the amount owed. I went to my bank to deposit the money and found out that he didn't have the money in his account to cover the checks he sent me. Since then, I have tried calling him numerous times but he won't answer his phone. This guy is a COMPLETE CROOK and should not be allowed to stay in business and take people's hard earned money.

Brian B from The Outdoor Prursuit did not return my deposit of $2,475.00 after he failed to secure an antelope hunt. He told me on 8/7/21017 the refund was mailed the week prior and I should have received it in the mail. I have emailed him every week and called him 5 or 6 times and left messages. He will not return my phone calls or respond to any emails.
The money was taken out of my *** account on 1/30/2017.
