Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:
You did not meet any of the requirements I laid out as part of this complaint. The incident outlined in the response is not the initial complaint. I and my wife have been to the office several times filing complaints about parking and maintenance. As I stated originally, the parking lot is full every night, which required my wife to park along a curb. We have never received a single notice from the office stating not to park there. When we once had to go to the office to complain in person that they were not meeting our maintenance requests, the staff member Darcy explained that because of their work to sell the property they had not had any time to send out any notices for several months. I never called the office staff a liar, I stating they were lying when they attempted to claim they don't include parking in their contract, as I detailed in the original complaint to the Revdex.com. Furthermore, when I told the office I was taking the cost of them towing our car from the rent, they told me they would return to me what money I had paid, and involve their legal department, then the office person refused to continue any discussion and started to walk away. In response I told the Overlook I would retain legal counsel and sue them back, file a complaint with the Revdex.com, then left. I never "stormed" out of the office and the Overlook is now dangerously close to engaging in defamation. I will not be wasting my time filing more maintenance requests through their system as they do not address them, as I outlined before. The office will meet all terms I previously listed as part of the resolution.
Sincerely,[redacted]

The initial complaint from this resident came in as he parked in a fire lane and was towed.  He stated that he could not find anywhere to park and decided to park there.  I explained that we had sent out several notices explaining that any cars parked in fire lanes would be towed.  I...

let him know that the fire department had already come through and warned us as it is a city violation.  He stated that his lease states that he would have two parking spaces.  I let him know that we do not guarantee two parking spaces as all of the uncovered parking is first come first serve.  I reminded him that if he would like a reserved space that he can get a covered space for a monthly fee of $50.00.  He continued to call me a liar and stated that he would take the cost of the tow fee out of his next months rent.  I told him that these were two separate issues and should he not pay his rent in full, he would acquire late fees.  He stormed out and stated he would take me to court if that was the case.  In regards to his  service requests, we have not received any of those from him via phone or our on line service we have available for residents.  If he has items that need repair he would need to call the office and make an appointment to get those items taken care of.

We have been in contact and addressed the leaks in this unit for this resident.  The first leak that she is referring to did take a little longer as we could not find where the water was originating.  When we concluded the repair we found that it was a pipe that was leaking in walls. There...

was no mold or mildew found in the ceiling or walls we finalized that repair. The attached pictures are of the most recent concern.  She had a water stain that you can see in the picture.  We took out the drywall and peeled back the insulation.  No mold or mildew was found.  We are in the process of finalizing that repair and have communicated the process with the resident.   We have complied with her requests for repair and communicated that leaks do take some time as we first have to find where the leak is coming from, have the area dry and then fix the interior.  We will continue her lease with rental rates as signed at move in.

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because: Under no situation should it take 17 days to over a month to come and service a leak. The company is putting my health and my roommates health at risk by having mold present. It does not take that long to cut a hole in someones ceiling to locate the leak. I would like my rent adjusted due to the health hazard the company caused.Sincerely,[redacted]
