I just got my mail about the letter that the manager here at The overlook at westridgeThe address I gave you is correct but when you look online it shows the new buildings down the streetI'm in the old building that is all studio apartmentsSo I noticed in the letter she mentioned that when I complain about the noise, the people above me are out of townThat's a complete lieShe seems to think that I make all of this up because I won't allow them in to listen to it, as per the lease agreement, it does not state that they need to come into my apartment to listen but does state that if the noise is at an uncomfortable level, to let them know and they will resolve it. Well I've been here years, every person I've had above me slams cupboards and drawers, stomp, slam thing's or throw stuff because I am always hearing loud slamming agains my ceiling. I know this building is old, and I will hear noise, but what I'm hearing is completely unacceptableEspecially when it's completely breaking the supposed noise ordinance of this complex which is 10pm to 8am yet I find myself waking up after midnight to stomping, as well as around 7am. The only response I'm given is " move out then"That to me is not a solution and if I could afford to move out I would have done so long ago. I also have a few videos as well as a bunch of audio recordings labeled by day on my phoneI've sent a few to the manager, and no reply. She tells me I'm harassing her and the staff as well as my neighbors when the fact is they don't do they're Jobof the assistant managers that lives in the building constantly gives me day or vacate notices for minor noise that I will admit too but if they are constantly writing me up for complaints that aren't even serious, why does everyone keep stompin and slamming above me? Shouldn't they have gotten a notice as well? To me the harassment is coming from themI have someone park here for maybe minutes as I do a lot of Craigslist bartering, and next thing I know I will have a not on my door and in the mail the next dayNot to mention I barely turn up my music and same thing, but the lady across gets to have her friends over to blast music and scream through the neighborhood with singing and that's ok to themBut everyone else in this building has people park in the lot for hours at a time and do they get complaints? NopeNever see any white envelopes on anyone else doors. I feel that this place needs some kind of code inspection or something, nobody should have to live like this especially for the price and size as well as all the noise that comes alongHad someone lived above me when they showed us the apartment, I would have never moved inNo insulation, no sound barrier whatsoever just a small gap between some sheet rockI can literally hear tvs, phone calls, all of itIt's rediculous. I would never had taken to the Revdex.com or the city of it was just minor sound but it's out of hand and constantSeems they never sit down, just continuous walking back and forth through the a tiny studio apartmentNot sure what else to say, no reason to make it this big of a deal if I didn't need too but the lack of sleep over a year period is rediculous and I'm tired of them not responding or taking care of the situ
