[redacted] I received 6 weeks free pet insurance from my breeder. My kitten started having diarrhea approximately 5 days after I received her. After sending in claims and paying out of my own pocket to extend the insurance, all of the claims were denied. The reason is that when I was at the vet with her and I said her diarrhea started several days after she came home, the vet obviously wrote down the day she got home and used that date so the issue "happened" before the 48 hours were up? This is not the case and this could have been easily told to me before I extended the insurance with my money as the claims had already been sent in! So not only am I out a HUGE amount of money because I was sold a sick cat, I am out more money trying to get some of this money back through the insurance I paid for. [redacted] Someone obviously put a wrong date in somewhere but they will not listen that it was after the 48 hours. [redacted] I want my one month of premium back because I feel it was unfair that they did this to me but that will not happen. I hope you can rest easy knowing that this kitten will most likely be put to sleep because I cannot pay the vet bills any longer and taking my money and me getting nothing in return just adds to that. This company is HORRIBLE to deal with. Please do not make the mistake of signing up because there is so much fine print that you will never see any money. Do NOT waste your money!

I am TOTALLY DISAPPOINTED in Petsecure and Western Financial Insurance and the way their "customer care" agent Rodney, handled my call.

After waiting a month to receive information regarding my claim, only to receive an email notification *We regret we are unable to cover treatment for this condition as it is not covered by your policy...... I took out this policy only after asking NUMEROUS times if the gastropexy would be considered preventative medicine and if it would be covered at the time of spaying. The agent at the time I decided to take this policy out for my dog, assured me that if I signed on for the 4+ plan that it would indeed be covered. I have submitted five claims to date totaling $2,018.34, and have been advised that I will be reimbursed for none of this.

I am cancelling this insurance and will be pocketing the monies in an account for my pets future. This way I can police whether the funds are available or not and whether the treatment is "covered" or not, and I will not have to deal with the bureaucratic red tape only to find out, ooooops sorry your not covered.

I have been with Petsecure long before it was Petsecure and the one constant through all the years has been the great service, the coverage and most of all the caring team of people I have had the pleasure to speak to. Through the years I have had happy experiences and sad ones and each time there was a caring person at the end of the line making it easier. People my think that coverage is expensive and yes to some degree it is, but so is everything else we need in life but what does your pet mean to you. Petsecure gives you the comfort in knowing that your pet can get the best medical treatment available when needed. I do not know how I could have covered all the surgeries, tests and medicine through all those years without the coverage of Petsecure. You never know when an illness can happen and the best medicine is to be covered by an ethical company that will stand behind its policies. I want to thank everyone who has help me out and a thanks to Jeff who was the last one who answered all my questions. All my dogs have been rescue dogs and they all deserved the best and this Company is. Being covered can mean the difference to your dog living or being put down.
So if its peace of mind that you want and your pet is your family, then give him or her the best and that is Petsecure. Once again thank you for always being there for my pets. P.S. Thank you for the story that you shared about Honey in Dog Tales.
