The P Spot Reviews (1)

Review: If I could give this establishment a 1/2 of star I would and that would be just for the receptionist who was very pleasant and had a warm smile. she was very professional. My friend an I book the class through the P spot website where we could pay using a credit card or pay pal. the website shows you how many people have paid for the class limit 20. we were caught in traffic and called to see if we could just join the next class that started 15 later. we were told we could not but we thought if we just went there the manager would show a bit of remorse (this was a surprise for a friend's birthday). upon entry we were greeted with a professional smile and nice lady. She told us we could speak to the manager who is also the instructor. we waited 5 mins and she approached us with such attitude because we wanted to switch classes (same price) she told us she could not because of "PURE Pandemonium" THERE WERE 2 PEOPLE in the next class that held 20!!!!!!!!!!!!I wouldn't recommend this class to my dog. Totally bad customer service!!!You can return thing to [redacted] without a receipt for Pete's sakes this was the worst experience ever!Desired Settlement: For information purposes.

Response:

Michaela <[redacted]@thepspotfitness.com>Nov 21 (4 days ago)to me [redacted]Please see my response to the complaint file to the Revdex.com against The P Spot:This complaint appears to have been cut and pasted from the review the customer posted on [redacted]. First, we have a 4 out of 5 star rating on [redacted], and it is unfortunate that things have gotten to this point. First, the customer seems to be using a different name which she used to register for classes at our studio and that which she used on [redacted]. (Here's the link to the [redacted] review she wrote: https://[redacted].[redacted])To the incident in question, this young woman and 3 of her friends registered for one of our group exercise classes. We have a clearly stated and documented 24-hour cancellation policy, whereby students are allowed to change or cancel there class up to 24 hours before the start time of class, without penalty. Cancellations or changes initiated within 24 hours of the class and certainly once the class has occurred are not accompanied by a refund or credit. This policy is prominently displayed on our website and customers are required to acknowledge and agree to this an other policies online prior to booking classes. Furthermore, customer's a sent confirmation emails reaffirming our cancellation clause. Anyhow, the customer and her friends arrive late and not only attempted to blackmail us by threatening to write negative reviews online if we did not grant them a free make-up class, but also persisted to call back several times and threatened to harm me and my staff physically, along with other vulgarities...this was all because she showed up at 7:28, to a class that ended at 7:30, and wanted to attend another class for free.Aside from fulfilling her threat to post a negative review on [redacted], she also fradululently disputed the payment she made for the class with her bank, claiming that she did not authorize the charge. But it is evident from her claim that she not only intended to attend the class, but actually visited the studio. We have been open for 9 years, and yes we cannot always make every customer happy. But we try our best to accommodate customers even if what they request is in direct conflict with the policies that they themselves agree to when they register for class. Such was the case for this young woman, who not only was ungrateful, but distasteful and disrespectful in her comments, not to our face, when she was in our presence, but after she left on the phone to the same receptionist that she gave 1/2 star to above. We, and I in particular, are elated to hear that she will not be returning nor anyone who she would recommend, because truthfully we do not stand for the low class, negative behavior she brought to our beautiful new studio. We do, however, welcome any other women who are professional and positive in their demeanor, and who simply want to workout and have fun.Michaela B[redacted], ManagerThe P Spot® Fitness Studio617 Rhode Island Ave., NESuite AWashington, DC 20002###-###-####
